Pluck & Devour is the jewellery, accessories and now interiors brand by local Belfast designer Gráinne Maher. She started the label ten years ago, taking the name from her favourite James Joyce poem ‘A memory of the players in a mirror at midnight’. ng Gráinne’s work include Alexandra Burke, and most recently The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson. In 2019 Gráinne decided to reinvent the label by adding fabric and wallpaper design to the list. Her first collection called ‘LadyGarden’, depicts subtle hand-painted female breasts emerging from the foliage, and was installed on the walls of Belfast’s newest boutique hotel The Harrison, in two of the top bedrooms, known as ‘The Booboirs’. This design also dons fabric lampshades, cushions, mugs and plates, in two separate colourways; dark or light. Plans for the next range are already in full flow! Expect to see plenty more cheeky handpainted lady parts, on fabric and wallpaper, and new perspex jewellery designs alongside perspex laser-cut interiors items too. Please check her work out at:
