We've transformed this lounge into a rich, inviting space. The challenge was how to add the strong colour and on which wall due to the shape of the room. The solution: adding a mock picture rail which gives a sense of balance and light. The main colours are Pitch Blue and Pointing from Farrow and Ball.

A stunning country farmhouse. The brief: keep the traditional feel, incorporate the encaustic tiles but also give a contemporary theme.
I felt that all those beautiful period features were begging to be seen. So, in homage to the trades of the early 20th-century build, I've painted in view of showing off all the pretty detailing.
As the proprietor said, 'the hallway way now has great presence, I love it'.

The Brief: create warmth, lower the ceiling height.
I used the kitchen cupboards as inspiration, the colour 'Clunch' from Farrow and Ball matched and provided the backdrop to the entire family area.
Painting the shelving and skirting which dates from 1921 in 'Soft black' created the distraction from the vast ceiling in the snug as well as toning in with the wood burner.
Finally two shades of green 'Vert de terre' and 'lichen' have brought nature into this country farmhouse, all year round.

Brightening up and freshening up this modern townhouse in Ballyhack again.
We've used 'Ammonite', 'All white' and 'Down Pipe', all from Farrow and Ball.

This is a townhouse in Ballyhackamore. The living room has been completed in 'Dimpse', with a feature wall in 'railings'. The kitchen in 'Shaded white', all woodwork in 'all-white' from the Farrow and Ball palette. Very smart and crisp..

One last post for the foreseeable future.
A long term project that I've been working on, various rooms with a similar colour scheme in a beautiful victorian townhouse in a full renovation.
The colours are 'French Gray', 'Threron' and 'Shaded White' from the Farrow and Ball palette.
