I’m Laura Rose

A name only my mummy really called me growing up, however since meeting my fiancé (I hate that word) Nathan more than 13 years ago it is a name I have heard more often. This is how I have been introduced to the lovely people of Antrim by Nathan's mum and sisters. We moved here in 2015 with our then 2-year-old Sonny while expecting our little Eden Rose.

I forgot to tell you how special the name Rose is. This was my Granny's name. A special woman I unfortunatley didn't get to meet. Although I have never felt this way, as she passed away the day before I was born, when my mummy was was only 21. Only now at 33 with children of my own do I realise how sad that really is.

So our little delight Eden has been graced by the beautiful name also. Since she was born we have settled in and being called Laura Rose has grown on me. On maternity leave with Eden I started making handmade gifts for friends and family and soon started getting requests by friends and family to create gifts for their friends and family (this could go on forever... I hope lol).

I made a frame for Sonny's school playgroup raffle... the lady messaged me asking for my Facebook business page as if I should have one, I was dumbfounded...
