Doug Hyde's new collection, Snapshots of Summer, has just arrived in the gallery.

It's about the moments nobody thinks to photograph — the friendship, the daft afternoon, the day at the coast that turns out to be the one you remember.

Some editions are already sold out at the publisher. On display now at 4 Callender Street, while stocks last.

Message us or ring 028 9023 3535 to reserve a piece.

There’s a new cat in the front of the shop, and he’s full of pens.
The Legami erasable pens have quietly become one of the things people come back in for — gel ink that rubs out clean with the cap, no ghosting, no roughed-up paper. Handy for anyone who plans in a diary and changes their mind twice a week.
Now with refills in black, blue, purple, pink and green. A pen you get on with doesn’t have to be a one-off.
Two new faces this week: a gorilla and a chicken. Come and have a rummage.

The Pink Pig wall is full again.
Back in for the new term — every size and just about every colour. Proper heavy cartridge paper that takes a wash without buckling, and the wire binding means they open flat, which matters when you’re working on a desk that isn’t your own.
Come in and pick your colour. 4 Callender Street, Belfast.

Seven new HIMI twin cup sets just landed — and this time each one has a job. Twelve colours apiece, chosen for a single subject: skin tones for portraits, sea blues for the coast, leaf greens for botanicals, earth tones for landscape work, powdery pastels, loud brights, and a no-nonsense set of basics.

Same twin cup format as ever — sealed 12ml cups, ready the moment you open the case, and a drop of water revives anything that skins over. They make brilliant second palettes if you already keep a bigger set at home. Choosing your first? Very Basic is the one we'd hand you.

In store in Belfast and online now — link in bio.

Calling all pastel artists. No more getting your hands dirty in store.

Unison Colour singles now come individually packaged - so you can stand at the rack, pick through the greys, read the numbers, put them back, and leave with clean hands. Anyone who has browsed loose singles knows exactly why this is good news.

The new set boxes are better too: scuff-resistant, magnetic closure, built to keep your sticks intact rather than rattling into dust in a bag.

We're marking it with a Unison Sale with extra savings on the old packaging.

And if you're in Belfast: the last of the old-packaging singles are ÂŁ3.50 while they last. In store only. Fill the gaps in your box.

Meet Paul Yates. Friday, 2pm in the gallery.
He’s painted quietly for forty years from a hay barn on the Glentoran estate. Next year his studio goes to France — so this is the last of the work available in Belfast.
Eleven originals, fifteen limited editions, many never exhibited.
No ticket, no booking. Come up the stairs to the gallery..

That’s Daniel on the squeegee, and the design coming through is drawn from ancient Irish rock art — the spirals and carved lines cut into stone here thousands of years before anyone wrote a word down.

One pull. That’s all it takes. Limited number of tote bags created each day, watch it happen in front of you.

Live in the shop all day. 4 Callender Street — Fleadh week, so the town’s in fine form. Come in and see it.
