It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of our former colleague and much-loved member of The Blind Spot family, Sandy, today.

Sandy was a valued part of our team, and we have many fond memories of the time he spent with us. His connection to The Blind Spot continues today through his granddaughter, who is now a much-valued member of our team.

At this incredibly difficult time, we would like to send our deepest condolences, love and thoughts to Sandys family and everyone who knew and loved him.

From all of us at The Blind Spot, we are thinking of you and sending all our love.

Rest in peace, Sandy, You will be fondly remembered. 🤍🕊️

Yesterday we fitted something a little different for one of our customers… and she was OVER THE MOON with the result! ❤️

Our customer was absolutely terrified of bugs and flies getting into her home — so much so that she simply wouldn’t open her windows! 😱

Fresh air ❌
Cool breeze ❌
Flies getting in ❌😂

So we gave her the best of both worlds…

✨ BLINDSCREEN FLY SCREENS! ✨

These clever screens were retrofitted to her existing windows, working beautifully alongside the blinds she already had. The finished result was so neat and discreet that they looked like they had always been there!

Now she can:

🪟 Open her windows
🌬️ Let the fresh air flow through
🪰 Keep flies, moths and other unwanted little visitors OUT
🏡 Still enjoy the blinds she already loves

And the best part? She didn’t need to replace her existing blinds.

We often install the BlindScreen system with both a blackout blind AND integrated fly screen, which is fantastic for bedrooms and rooms where you want complete darkness as well as insect protection.

But you don’t HAVE to have the blackout!

This customer simply wanted the fly screen on its own — and it was the perfect solution. 👌
