5 easy ways to make your home feel cosier this season 🏡🍂.

There’s something about autumn that makes you want to slow down, get the blankets out and make home feel extra cosy. You don’t need to completely redecorate to give your home that autumn feeling.

Here are 5 simple things you can try:

🌿 Bring in natural textures:
Wood, ceramics, woven pieces and natural materials can instantly add warmth and character.

🕯️ Add warm lighting:
Swap bright lights for lamps, candles and softer lighting in the evenings. It makes such a difference!

Hello, September. We are happy to see you.

The first cosy month is here, and we are ready to slow things down and enjoy it.

We are sure you have seen the shops full of Halloween and Christmas even, as September arrives, thoughts seem to quickly turn to Halloween 🎃 and Christmas 🎄 but we prefer to live in the moment.

September is about enjoying the start of autumn, crisp mornings, cooler evenings, warm drinks, soft textures and making our homes feel cosy as the seasons begin to change.

So before jumping into pumpkins and Christmas decorations, let's enjoy this beautiful little in-between season.

It’s still picnic season!
We’ve put together an impromptu picnic hamper, using an old apple crate, vintage cutlery and crockery. Packed with crusty bread, a block of cheese, cherries, plums and water melon as well as a bottle of home made lemonade. Don’t forget one of our beautiful blankets or sheepskins for gathering around.

We carefully plan our displays, we consider every colour, texture and little detail to create an authentic Scandinavian feel.

From using an authentic sledge as part of our displays, to our window shutters and even our snow shoes, we have carefully considered & thought about each display. Each one helps tell a story and brings a little piece of Scandinavia into our shop.
