Deep forest green, rich walnut, and warm chocolate tones. 🍸

A space designed for hosting, relaxing and socialising, we did not hold back with the finishes used in here, and it's a total vibe in this room. We sourced every item with intention to create this enveloping space.

By colour drenching everywhere in the dark green shade we created a moody backdrop, and used Lutron Electronics technology to control the lighting and blinds, the mood can be set almost instantly for maximum relaxation time.

We finished this room at the end of last year so it is great to finally be able to finally share the end result with these lovely new shots by Nat | Interiors Photographer Using the bright and vibrant tones from the fun blind material we brought in teals, pinks and mustard to create a joyful backdrop for this playroom and snug. Same spot different view. Check out the progression of this cinema room over the last few months. What started as an empty corner with some stark down lights has become a warm and cosy corner. Although the log burner might not get lit for a few months yet it provides a beautiful feature in this space, raised on a curved plinth which we designed to create a focal point, making the most of those tall ceilings which we finished with extra deep coving and a total colour drench in this rich green paint. photography by Nat | Interiors Photographer styling by Sophie Guerin

I’ve loved bringing these elements together for a boot room I’m working on as part of a wider ground floor renovation that is about to begin. Earthy dark green cabinets will be the focus in this room, with every inch of space working hard to support busy family life. We’ve even incorporated a little dog nook with gingham curtain tucked away underneath the cabinets 🐶

Delighted to discuss the timeless appeal of this paint colour in this article in online. It's long been a favourite of mine, used as the backdrop to our previous home, which I painted in this shade 14 years ago! A chameleon of a colour, appearing various shades from lilac to off white depending on aspect and lighting. Thank you to Homes and Gardens for including our bathroom design in this article.

Much like a downstairs loo, people are often less afraid to go bold in their spare bedrooms! Here is a perfect example....using daring and contrasting shades, mixing paint choices, print and pattern for maximum impact. We can all be guilty of playing it safe with our homes, but the braver choices often become our favourites!

Family room details 💕 When designing this living space, I wanted to balance a timeless look with elements that feel completely relaxed and inviting. We brightened up the existing panelling that was painted a dark navy blue and paired it with a deep, comfortable blue linen sofa.

Swipe to see my absolute favourite element... the back of the bespoke sofa featuring a relaxed pleated skirt and tie details. And on the other side of the room, a custom window seat upholstered in the most beautiful fabric (the inspiration for the whole scheme!) against original stone window casings. The perfect sun-drenched spot for an afternoon read.
