A Sunday in berkhamsted is a great place to spend a day.
Heritage ( England surrendered to the Normans here in 1066 - and there was a market even then), beautiful countryside and fantastic hospitality from our High street pubs cafes and restaurants. Or maybe a picnic in the castle, or a drink in a canal-side pub and everything is within a few minutes walk of our High Street Market. Sunday 13th September is the next date for our Artisan and Makers market with 30-40 stalls - Art, Jewellery, Pottery,Woodcraft, Textiles, Homewares and so much more from our fantastic local makers. Come and visit on Market Day !!

13th Sept is also the last day of Berko Fields music festival. If you have a ticket, come early and explore the High Street & Market before you go

BERKHAMSTED ARTISAN & MAKERS MARKET - THIS SUNDAY

Come and spend the day in Berkhamsted and visit our Artisan & Makers Market ( Direct train from London & Milton Keynes 30 mins)

With around 40 stalls spread along the High Street, you’ll find unique items from local makers and artisans: Jewellery, Art, Pottery, Woodcraft, Clothing Plants, Homewares, Hand Made Chocolates and so much more. Distictive and beautiful items that you won’t find in High Street Shops

Berkhamsted - well worth a visit, and from castles to canal, countryside and High Street shops, everything is within walking distance of the High street and Station.
Worth a day trip anytime but if you come on a Sunday chances are there’ll be a great High street Market too.
1st Sunday - Antiques and Vintage - 6th September
2nd Sunday - Artisan and Makers -13th September
3rd Sunday - Farmers - 20th September
