Scarycrow week has begun on Ford and etal estate. A whole week of scary and haunting displays dotted around the villages. Here in Ford We are No 17 at the shop accessible through the path at the side of the angel fountain. Come along for some fun and pop into our shop whilst you’re here lots to see

I’m hosting an afternoon tea in aid of Breast Cancer NOW in my village of Ford outside the post office on Thursday 20 August at 2pm onwards
We would love it if you could come along and help support the cause. As well as drinks and eats there will be a tombola and a few other fun things to do!
If anyone can donate eateries or tombola items just send me a message. I’m also collecting from Coldstream on the Thursday morning xx

Ladies! With all these proms and civic weeks coming around are you stuck for something to wear? Petal n Paint Creations have a small selection of dresses and handbags to hire or buy for that special occasion. Pre loved and dry cleaned or laundered. The bees are very busy today at the cabin and many of them. Not sure why this particular pot is attracting them more than any other the plant has died??
The bees belong to a local honey farm who have their hives behind the shop. Apparently they are collecting moisture in the pots to take back to their hives. They are so fascinating to watch and are not bothered by anyone unless provoked as they just want to get on with their job!

What happened to the traditional Easter eggs in mugs I hear you say? Well hear they are. Yes there are some controversial chocolate eggs there but there is no packaging just a foil wrapper and a wonderful vintage mug for your child or adult to enjoy. Limited supply so get yours fast before they’re all gone. Mugs are all unique

Recently it has almost been spring like and it is officially the first day of spring on Sunday 1st March
The grounds all over are covered in snowdrops and crocus bringing new colour. So why don’t you bring your own bit of spring colour and scent into your life with these beautiful ready planted containers or bulbs ready to plant in your garden or pots. We also have a good choice of primroses and primulas ready to add some spring colour.
