As many of you have noticed we haven’t posted much on our page this year. It’s about time we explained why.
Around June last year we decided to take things easier and we stepped back from Woodlawn Flowers in order to concentrate on health issues. It was a difficult decision to make but we decided that we would look at things a year on and decide what our direction for the future would be.
Here we are mid 2023 and it doesn’t seem like a year has passed. We can now confirm that we will not be reopening Woodlawn Flowers. In the end the decision was a easy one. Life is short and health is everything.
Woodlawn Flowers was part of the community for over 40 years and in that time many customers came through our doors, some for a fleeting moment, many to remain as loyal customers and some we are lucky enough to call friends. We have nothing but fond memories, laughter and joy as we reminisce. We cannot thank everyone enough for your support over the years to Rae, Bram and finally ourselves. It was never work for us, it never is when you love what you do.
Now in the next chapter of our lives we intend to continue as we have this last year: looking after our health, caring for our beautiful German Shepherd and treasuring every day. As we sign off we thank every one of you and hold you all in our hearts. Thank you all for the fabulous memories 💐🥂😘
