🪡 Another quality repair completed.

This Recaro seat came to us with a damaged side bolster panel that couldn’t simply be repaired. To restore it properly, we carefully removed the original panel, manufactured a brand-new replacement, and had the Recaro logo professionally embroidered to match the factory finish.

The new panel was then expertly sewn and fitted, ensuring the stitching, materials and overall appearance blended seamlessly with the rest of the seat.

Working on a wide variety of vehicles, from prestige and classic cars to luxury 4x4s, sports cars, boats, and bespoke automotive interiors, this is an excellent opportunity to become part of one of Yorkshire’s leading upholstery and trimming specialists.

Responsibilities:

✔ Stripping and refitting vehicle interiors
✔ Measuring, pattern making, and cutting materials
✔ Sewing leather, vinyl, Alcantara, and fabric components
✔ Creating bespoke vehicle interiors to a high standard
✔ Installing seat covers, door cards, dashboards, headliners, and trim panels
✔ Carrying out repairs and restorations on automotive interiors
✔ Working on custom projects for high-end and prestige vehicles

Requirements:

✔ Previous vehicle trimming or upholstery experience preferred
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
✔ Experience using industrial sewing machines advantageous
✔ Full UK driving licence preferred

🔧 Seat Panel Replacement – Premium Nappa Leather

Another vehicle interior repaired here at Leather Solutions Yorkshire.

This seat came in with damage to the side bolster panel — a common wear point due to constant entry and exit from the vehicle. Instead of replacing the entire seat cover, we carried out a precision panel replacement, restoring the seat while keeping the original factory design.

For this repair we supplied premium Nappa leather and Nappa perforated leather, carefully colour matching the original interior to achieve a seamless finish.

Our process involved:
✂️ Removing the seat cover
📏 Using the existing panels as templates
🪡 Precision cutting and sewing the new leather sections
🔧 Reassembling and refitting the cover back onto the seat

The result is a factory-style repair that saves the customer the cost of a full seat replacement while maintaining the original look of the interior.

Another stunning project completed by the team at Leather Solutions Yorkshire. This classic Chesterfield has been given a full re-cover, combining timeless craftsmanship with a bold, modern twist.

We carefully stripped the sofa back to its frame, repaired and strengthened the structure, and supplied new high-quality fillings and support materials to restore comfort and shape. The sofa was then reupholstered in premium leather, finished with hand-set studs and paired with bespoke statement cushions to create a truly unique centrepiece.
