We recently had the pleasure of providing some outdoor lighting in Harlow.⁠

More lumens doesn't mean better lighting - it just means brighter.

Here's what actually matters:
🔸 Beam angle - Determines where those lumens go. Narrow beam = concentrated intensity. Wide beam = gentle spread. Same lumens, totally different effects.
🔸 Your desired result - Do you want dramatic feature lighting or subtle path guidance? Floodlight brightness or gentle ambience?
🔸 Strategic placement - Three 200-lumen fixtures positioned thoughtfully will outperform one 600-lumen fixture every time.

Think about the effect you want to create, not just the brightness number on the spec sheet.
