Another kitchen makeover completed.
The kitchen is in a cottage and they wanted to create a cozy inviting area without being too modern. The before pictures are at the bottom..
We went with a F@B colour scheme but mixed into little greene paints.
All plastic door and panel coverings removed and undercoated then hand painted in Little Green eggshell.
The old tiles removed, new worktops fitted and tiled in a less garish modern twist metro tile.
The floor is heated and laid with Karndean. The Windows then dressed with Roman blinds to soften the room.

Another hand painted kitchen makeover. The cabinets are hand painted on Little Greene Royal Blue. The worktops , tiles, basin, tap and flooring were also changed. A complete makeover for a fraction of the cost of a new kitchen.
I project manage the whole job from start to finish and book in electricians and gas fitters so all fitting is regulation compliant.

Since not everybody likes the more colourful approach to decoration I thought I would share a more neutral scheme with you. The brief here was to turn a conservatory into a dining space for entertaining.
To start with the brickwork was boarded and plastered to make it feel more into an extension.
The furniture was all “up cycled” and painted to match the walls and then lacquered for durability.
To soften the hardness of a conservatory, I used curtains which also gives privacy at night.

I just wanted to post up a project that I have just finished. The client wanted a kitchen that was comfortable, sociable and practical.
It needed to house everything so there was no clutter and be laid out in a user friendly sensible manner.
I project managed the job from start to finish and chose colors,furniture, worktops, flooring and products with the client. No stress for the client and everything delivered,completed properly and on time.

Also, in addition to kitchen cabinet painting I can also paint furniture to a high standard.
With better quality furniture, it is often better painted in oil or water based eggshell paint rather than chalk paint. It’s a longer lasting and much harder wearing finish than chalk and wax.

This particular piece of furniture was French polished and was an interesting piece but not being used due to the darkness of it.

So we discussed colours and decoupage to re purpose the cabinet and this us what we ended up with. The colour is Woad, in Little Greene intelligent eggshell and the paper is Versace.

I’ve been painting kitchen cabinets for a number of years for kitchen manufacturers. I’m now starting to paint them for local customers. If you have good quality doors it’s a great way of creating a new kitchen look at a fraction of the cost.
I use the same process as on new painted kitchens and the finish does not chip or scrape and is completely washable.
