Available in 160mm and 200mm, the deeper projection creates a more substantial, considered finish, beautifully complementing the traditional proportions and handcrafted detailing of our timber-look windows.

Finished with laminated end caps for a refined, seamless appearance, it’s another carefully considered detail designed to make Evolution look and feel closer to timber.

What's That Door Wednesday? 🚪

This week we meet The Ashton, a beautifully traditional design where once again timeless character meets considered modern performance.

Look a little closer and you'll find the details that set The English Door Company apart. Refined barrel hinges help create an authentic timber-finish, while an 8-point locking system provides reassuring security. Thermally broken aluminium midrails bring strength and performance to the construction, complemented by bespoke coloured glass designs that allow every door to have its own distinctive character.

Traditional character. Modern performance. Beautifully considered. 🏡

When the homeowners of this beautiful family home in Thatcham, Berkshire decided it was time to replace their original timber windows, preserving the character of the property was at the heart of their decision.

After exploring both timber and timber-effect options, they chose Evolution Flush timber-look windows and doors, drawn to the authentic detailing and traditional appearance.

The project included 17 double-glazed Flush windows and two sets of French doors, finished in elegant Agate Grey externally and White internally.

From the handcrafted timber-look joints and deep cills to the subtle woodgrain detailing, every element has been designed to recreate the beauty of traditional timber, with the added benefits of modern uPVC.

The result? A home that feels beautifully refreshed, without losing the character that made it special in the first place. ✨
