We enjoyed another lovely day of sewing last week and another 4 pupils graduated from our 1 day intensive beginners course. This is one of our favourite classes to teach. Often pupils arrive nervous and unsure if they will succeed, only to leave a few short hours later with three completed projects and a smile from ear to ear! This course gives anyone the confidence to sew and the tools they need to support them once they get back home.

Our next course is on Friday 26th September.

It's been a while since I posted on here. Sorry for the radio silence. Some of you might know I accepted a 9-5 post in the real world as a careers advisor to make ends meet in this slightly crazy financial situation we all find ourselves in right now. That means it's exam season and time to support our students who are moving on to pastures new in September, so I'm a little preoccupied with 'work stuff' right now. It doesn't mean that BTHQ is closed though. You can still come to me for lessons or to purchase online courses or materials. Please don't forget me just because I've gone quiet.

It's not too late to take part in this years Secret Summer Sewalong. There are 2 projects included in this years sew along. Both very useful to everyone.

We've just had another bunch of newbie sewers graduate from our beginners sewing course with honours today. We are looking forward to seeing them get hooked on sewing and hopefully joining our sewing club. There's dates on the website for our next 2 courses if you'd like to learn to sew this summer too.

Today the printer Dr informed us that Colin needs an extensive repair which is going to cost quite a bit of money.

Your help is needed for us to undertake his operation as soon as possible.
