I’ve always loved a colour wheel and am a bit partial to a bit of Joseph and his Technicolored Dream Coat so it was no surprise that I was drawn to these amazing 1930’s Aquarello Watercolour Pencils and this early 1900 Winsor & Newton colour tint reference card, a rare survivor of hand-mixed swatches with their recipes noted below (rose madder, cobalt, yellow ochre…).

Two eras, one obsession: getting that colour exactly right.

It’s one of the only National Trust houses built and furnished almost entirely under Morris & Co.’s influence — original wallpapers, De Morgan tiles, and Pre-Raphaelite paintings throughout. Add it to your list it won’t disappoint.

Vintage lead farm figures — turkeys with their tails fanned, a sow trotting her piglets to the trough, hens fussing over their chicks, and the farmer’s wife on egg-collecting duty. The charm is in the chipped paint, and decades of small hands that have played out their Old Macdonald dreams.

Probably 1930s–50s, likely Britains or one of their contemporaries. DM for enquiries.

A little mash up of our favourite Ibiza retail haunts. If you need a vintage / antique fix then head to , Sant Joan de Labritja or , Portinax. For a proper retail fix head to Santa Gertrudis and start at the wonderful white washed warren that is .ibiza

Bleached branch coral — a large statement architectural piece, no aquarium required.

Bleached to that lovely bone-white, so it plays nicely with pretty much anything — gilt frames, dark wood, brass. Great for providing texture and height to a display.

New in at Trove - Beautiful art nouveau terracotta bust by Spanish sculptor Pablo Rigual (1863 - 1917).

That faraway expression and those tumbling waves ~ what’s not to love.
