Super proud of all my floristry learners today ✨✨✨

This morning was the End of Year Show at Birmingham Adult Education Service, bringing together talented learners from across the city to celebrate everything they've achieved this year

My wonderful floristry learners worked incredibly hard creating beautiful floral pedestals, a flower column and a collection of table arrangements for visitors to enjoy and purchase. From planning and preparation through to the final designs, they showed so much creativity, teamwork and enthusiasm 😍😍😍

Teaching floristry is about so much more than flowers. It's about building confidence, learning new skills, solving problems, supporting one another and discovering what you're capable of creating.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped prepare in class, assisted with setting up today, attended the show and supported fellow learners. It was lovely to see so many people enjoying themselves and celebrating each other's achievements.

A little moment for these fun floral meadows created for Inta and Sven's special day 🌸

Packed full of beautiful locally grown, seasonal blooms. I absolutely love early summer flowers... the movement, the textures and the incredible fragrance. If only Insta had smell-o-vision 🤣

This weekend is a slightly quieter one for me, so I'm catching up on admin and wedding quotes before a busy week ahead.

On Tuesday, I'll be working on the End of Year Show at Birmingham Library with , where learners from across the Adult Education Service will be showcasing their creativity and achievements. My floristry learners and I have some fabulous floral displays planned, and I can't wait to see everything come together 📚✨

Dodging sunshine and showers at Shustoke Barn today 🌦️💐

Inta and Sven chose a beautiful garden inspired colour palette with soft pink peonies, daisies, delphiniums and lots of delicate seasonal details.

I absolutely love how joyful and relaxed this bouquet feels. Perfect for an early summer wedding.

They do say a wet knot never comes untied ☔️💕

A moment for Danielle's beautiful luxury dusky pink bouquet 💐

A stunning combination of soft pinks, cream and dusky rose, with little pops of berry tones and grey-green foliage 🌿

Dusky pink is such a nuanced colour palette to work with. Every shade of blush carries different red, peach or mauve undertones, so creating something that feels balanced, romantic and cohesive is all in the details.
