Work hard, celebrate together. 🥂✨

We recently brought the whole team together, from our site fitters to our office staff to celebrate recent wins across both Mazon Flooring and Mazon Interiors.

Delivering high-end spaces requires complete alignment between design, project management, and on-site ex*****on. Days like this give us the chance to reflect on where the business is heading, share feedback, and celebrate the people who make it happen.

And of course, no team day is complete without great food and a bit of friendly competition with Killer Darts 🎯🌮

Here’s to the next chapter of growing both brands together! 🚀

Selecting the right carpet for high-traffic areas like staircases and landings requires careful consideration of both materials and fitting techniques.

For this project, a striking chevron-patterned woven carpet was installed across the landing and straight staircase.

To ensure maximum stability and longevity, the landing subfloor was over-plywooded before installing high-density commercial underlay using a double-stick installation method. Proper preparation and precise hand-fitting on stair risers and treads prevent movement, giving the carpet a crisp finish that holds up to daily use.

The finished result looks effortless, but true craftsmanship happens long before the carpet is laid.

From correct gripper positioning to precision-fitted SpringBond eco-underlay, every step of subfloor preparation guarantees maximum longevity in high-traffic areas like stairs and landings.

When it comes to subfloor prep, leads the way. 🏆

We spent the day with the Kelmore technical team getting hands-on with their full system, from testing primers and LevelMore smoothing compounds to learning all about DPMs and PrimeMore moisture barriers.

The best part? This wasn't just for our fitters. Our office team got stuck in too! Understanding the technical ins and outs of every product means everyone in our team can help specify the exact right prep for your space right from day one.

Training with trade-leading experts = total confidence on site for every project.

Huge thanks to for coming down! 🙌

Sometimes a flooring project calls for a little more than flooring.

As part of this Mazon Flooring project, the client needed a new point of access through their existing orangery.

Rather than replacing the complete glazed section, we used our teams wider skillset to come up with a bespoke solution, carefully converting two existing fixed glazed panels into a pair of fully functioning opening doors.

The original panels and framework were adapted, with new hinges, handles, latches and locks fitted before everything was finished to blend naturally back into the existing structure.

Flooring will always be at the heart of Mazon Flooring, but having an experienced, multi-skilled team means we can often help solve those additional challenges that come up along the way.

And if your project is more renovation-led, our team can help bring the wider space together.

Thinking of replacing your floor?
You might not need to.

This video shows the sanding and sealing process from start to finish. Removing surface wear, old finishes, and years of use to reveal the timber underneath and bring the floor back into service.

The floor is sanded through multiple stages to create a smooth, consistent finish, before being sealed for long-term protection and performance.

Not every floor needs replacing.
Many can be restored with the right approach.

Sanding and sealing, done properly.
