What do you reckon to our UK folklore prints inspired by the Japanese prints in ? We had a great time printing them yesterday with he did his own mini print session alongside ours so check out what he’s been printing too!

We did some work with Prospects Foundation at Haworth Art Gallery a few weeks ago making bookmarks inspired by the local flora in the gallery gardens! It was a great excuse for us to test making out our custom sublimation ink pads with the heat press. The public never cease to amaze us with their creativity! Catch you all next time!!! 😁

We’ve been busy at Haworth Art Gallery for the Hollins Hill open day. We’ve been printmaking and making bookmarks with people this afternoon. Even had some people making their own stamps this time 😁

More of our work for the cobinet of curiosities, Andy’s been making his own hieroglyphic stamps inspired by the Egyptian book of the dead, along with some hand made paper to record all of the amazing COB members!
We’re so lucky to get to be a part of this!!! We could go on but think that you should just go and see it down at Blackburn Museum & Art Gallery if you want to know more!

We’ve been working busily for the past few weeks making work for the COBinet of curiosity exhibition at Blackburn Museum.
Isabel been writing up and illustrating local folklore pages and made a good start on her own Lancashire folklore and superstition book!
We’ve had problem after problem with the screen printing but it’s all turned out great in the end don’t you think?! 😁

Still playing catch up with workshop posts! 😅 our 3rd Blackburn museum workshop this summer was printing jigsaw prints of some of the things on display, whilst the colours were set people got to play with positioning the blocks to create their print in anyway they wanted it!
We always love getting to play with the columbian press!
Got lots of ideas to carry on with this style so keep an eye out! Let us know what you think!

Had some fun creating floral stamps and using them to create some spot repeat inspired placement prints.
Very rare glimpse into one of our sketchbooks too! These are all gonna get used in a future pattern workshop so keep your eyes peeled!
