So... I've started a new adventure. I've decided (with Andy pushing me out of the door) to go back and finish what I started 30-odd years ago. I've just completed my first 3 weeks at Art College where I hope to eventually obtain that degree I worked so hard for when I was a child. There was no need to be scared, I am with a group of people who are all individually fantastic. I've never been in such a supportive environment. These are a few of my creations so far, all taking me out of my comfort zone. Haven't used glue sticks since St Greg's lol.
Big difference this time is that the only person standing in my way is me.

Looking forward to handing this one over tomorrow. It's been a real labour of love. I saw the dog and fell in love with his beautiful colouring. The owner very kindly let me choose from photos to draw from and practice my skills. With his kind permission, here is the result!

My latest which posed many challenges. Rocks, stuff growing on rocks lol, foliage, depth and on. Got there in the end after many hours of pondering how to tackle something. The markings on her face really threw me at times but glad to say the grid method kept reassuring me they were in the right place. Pleased with the end result.

I never really run out of ideas for what to draw/paint. Usually I'm busy doing something someone has asked for. But came across this and if you set it to 10 and elaborate, well... your imagination is the limit.
