When the shop we ran together in Flamborough for over forty years was forced to close late last year after Lesley’s death I was left with a number of machine-knitted Guernsey sweaters and also a small range of quality knitwear (all in dark navy wool) by Armor Lux of France. Lesley had been selling the Armor Lux cotton Breton shirts since the shop opened in 1981 and we subsequently expanded the range to include knitwear. I have a dozen sweaters remaining in various styles and will be offering these for sale (all “new with tags”) on eBay over the coming weeks, with the first being listed today: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/800768641539

Thankyou so much to my wonderful guests this week. As a ‘goodbye’ present they gave us the money for a lovely meal (with w**e) at our favourite restaurant. It was superb as usual and we are having a smashing night.
Thankyou for your custom over so many years, the Westcliffe is so special because of the guests who come here! Thankyou and I will miss you all ❤️

Today we are remembering fondly our guest and friend Eileen, who has sadly passed away. She reached a great age and has given us here at the Westcliffe so many happy memories with her. Rest in Peace Eileen and thankyou for everything ❤️
