Hello everyone..........
I have some news. 52 years ago I teamed up with some AMAZING musicians in Burton upon Trent and we formed a Progressive Rock band called Cargo. We played all over the country and shared the stage with some amazing rock acts, Queen, Greenslade, East of Eden to name but a few. I composed all the tunes. Eventually we each put £25 into the kitty and recorded a demo. We only had enough time to play each song once, live, (so there are mistakes) in mono. We did the whole thing in that one afternoon.
Now, amazingly, 52 years later, it has been released commercially by the wonderful Guerssen Records and is available to buy as vinyl.
I warn you - it is far from perfect.
It is however a sparkling reminder of just how incredibly these musicians could play.
