These beauties are the heroes of my latest commission piece. They’ll be repeated and set amongst black and white squares, which will represent a chequered flag.

Now that it’s arrived safely at its destination, I can finally share an order I’ve been working on over the summer holidays.
🌼 The blanket is my own creation, using a daisy pattern taught to me when I first learned to crochet and finding a border pattern on YouTube. I used King Cole Yarn & Pattern Supplier Cherished baby Dk in baby pink, sunshine and white, all purchased from Wool Warehouse.
🌼 The matching hat is a Kerry Jayne Designs pattern, with added daisy to match the blanket.
The little bow hats are from a pattern I found online, although I did modify the bow slightly. I used Bernat Softee Baby for these, and the flower petal hat, again purchased from Wool Warehouse
The pink flower petal hat is my own design, after buying a similar pattern that was almost impossible to fathom.
It was an absolute pleasure and an honour to be chosen by a returning customer to work on this order and it has rekindled my passion for crochet.

Patten test of the for Crochet Designer | Blankets and Comforters completed.
This is a gorgeous pattern; well written, with the addition of charts to show the design.
It was an absolute delight to work on.
I used purchased from Knitting Network for the blanket with some unbanded yarn for the border. If you enjoy you’ll love this! 💙🌟

I couldn’t resist doing a pattern test for the lovely Crochet Designer | Blankets and Comforters using some of the yarn that escaped the cull I had last year. This is the crocheted using Cicibebe Batik yarn purchased from Knitting Network
I love and this pattern is an absolute joy to follow!

This is what happens when I’m asked to support in a lesson at school. The kids loved it and I managed to teach a few of them how to do blanket stitch.

Oh look, I seem to have started a new project! This is the pattern by the brilliant Cotton and Wool Crochet and I’m using the same Bernat and Yarnsmiths (all purchased from Wool Warehouse) as my last project. I’m calling this one after the little lady I made the star blanket for.

Showcasing some of the bespoke baby blankets I’ve created over the past few years. I love it when someone gives me a colour palette or idea to work with, allowing me to have free rein to design a blanket for them. If you’re looking for a unique new baby gift, get in touch. I’m always happy to discuss ideas.

Now that it’s been gifted, I can finally share my latest crocheted using with in olive as the accent colour, all purchased from
I have absolutely adored watching this one grow and can’t wait to see the little lady it was crocheted for snuggled up under it.
