You saw the transformation. Now here’s a closer look at the details that made it happen 📸

Recently, we shared the transformation of our Oundle project. This week, we’re focusing on something that often gets overlooked.

Interior styling is often what transforms a beautifully decorated room into a beautifully designed home.

While before-and-after reveals showcase the overall impact of a space, it’s the carefully considered styling details that bring a scheme to life. From curated accessories and layered textures to statement florals, artwork and collected pieces, every element has a purpose.

For this room of the Oundle project, each accessory was selected to complement the rich colour palette, add warmth and character, and create a cohesive, layered interior that feels both elegant and inviting.

These finishing touches may seem small, but they’re what transform a room from looking complete to feeling complete.

Swipe through to take a closer look at some of our favourite styling moments from this space.

The hospitality industry is inspiring many of the best developments in later-life living 👏🏼

Today’s residents have spent decades experiencing boutique hotels, destination restaurants and beautifully designed homes. As a result, care and retirement environments are evolving to deliver not only practicality and support, but also comfort and exceptional design.

For this project, our vision was to create a destination within the home, a vibrant social space that encourages connection, enjoyment and a sense of belonging. A bespoke bar, layered textures, curated artwork and a rich palette of blue and ochre tones come together to create an environment that feels warm, welcoming and beautifully residential.

Alongside the aesthetic considerations, practical design solutions such as colour-led way-finding help support everyday living while maintaining the overall design integrity of the scheme.

The most successful later-life environments are those that balance operational excellence with outstanding resident experience, creating places where people can thrive, connect and feel truly at home.

Projects like this reflect our wider approach of creating interiors that not only look exceptional, but support the long-term success of the spaces they serve.

A new chapter ✍️

For years we’ve transformed commercial environments, creating spaces that balance functionality, wellbeing and exceptional design. Now we’re bringing the same level of detail, creativity and strategic thinking into the world of luxury residential interiors.

This site visit wasn’t about selecting finishes or choosing furniture, but about understanding how every room will function, how natural light moves through the home, where architectural features should be celebrated and how design elements will connect seamlessly from room to room.

Every luxury home begins with hundreds of conversations, sketches, site meetings and decisions.

This carousel captures just a few of them. Today it’s still a construction site… soon, it will be an extraordinary home.

Follow along as we document the journey from structure to sanctuary.

Is Quiet Luxury becoming Comfort-Led Luxury? 👇🏻

One of the biggest interior design shifts we are seeing in 2026 is the move away from spaces that simply look luxurious and towards spaces that actually feel luxurious.

Comfort-Led Luxury is all about creating environments that balance elegance with everyday usability, where craftsmanship, quality materials and thoughtful design come together to support how people live, interact and relax.

For this project, we did exactly that. Our focus was on creating a welcoming and sophisticated communal setting through bespoke joinery, carefully curated furniture, layered textures and a soft, neutral palette, with pops of natural greenery throughout. We will soon reveal how this organic design language flows throughout the wider scheme. Natural light floods the space throughout the day, while soft seating, styling accessories and warm timber tones help create an atmosphere that feels both refined and inviting.

Within this stunning seating area, rather than relying on trends or statement pieces, the design centres around timeless materials, tailored furnishings and considered layouts that encourage both social connection and quieter moments of relaxation.

As the conversation around wellbeing, hospitality-inspired interiors and human-centred design continues to grow, Comfort-Led Luxury is quickly becoming one of the defining interior trends of 2026. The influence of hospitality-inspired interiors can be seen in the growing demand for thoughtfully designed communal spaces that combine comfort, functionality and timeless style, creating environments people genuinely enjoy spending time in.

After all, the most successful interiors are not just beautiful to look at, they are spaces people look forward to spending time in.

Are you embracing the shift towards comfort-led luxury interiors?

Now the recent spell of warm weather has passed, we’re reflecting on the value of well-designed outdoor areas.

Looking at this space, it’s hard not to imagine sitting outside with a coffee, enjoying the sunshine, feeling the fresh air and taking a break from the pace of everyday life.

We created this outdoor communal area with exactly those moments in mind. A place where people can connect with others, spend time in nature or simply find a quiet corner to relax. In a world where wellbeing has never been more important, creating spaces that encourage social connection and make it easier to spend time outdoors is something we’re seeing become a real priority across the built environment.

Research continues to highlight the positive impact that natural light, fresh air and green spaces can have on both physical and mental wellbeing, which is why thoughtfully designed outdoor areas are becoming such an important part of modern developments.

Looking at these photos, we’re already counting down to the next spell of warm weather.

Could you see yourself spending an afternoon here? ☀️

We didn’t just create a cinema room… we created an experience 🎥

This transformation was all about creating atmosphere: soft ambient lighting, dramatic dark tones, layered textures, and boutique-cinema styling designed to instantly set the mood.

Originally designed for a care home environment, this entertainment space now offers comfort, escapism, and a place to come together and enjoy shared moments.

Proof that with the right design, any room can become something unforgettable. ✨

This is just one small section of a much larger project, but the level of detail within this scheme made it too good not to share 💙

We carried the same botanical fabric throughout the space across the curtains, cushions and upholstery to create a fully coordinated interior that feels layered, balanced and intentional from every angle.

The wallpaper, florals and accessories were then carefully matched back into the palette to bring warmth and continuity throughout the room, while the black furniture and darker accents helped ground the scheme and add contrast against the softer botanical tones.

Every texture, fabric and finish was selected to work together seamlessly so the space feels calm, welcoming and visually rich without becoming overwhelming.

One of our favourite parts of the project has been seeing how all of the tones and details connect together across the entire room.

What detail would catch your eye first walking into this space? ✨

There’s something about richly layered interiors that instantly changes the mood of a space 😮‍💨

The warmth of ambient lighting, the depth within the floral patterning, the softness of the textures and the contrast between statement detailing and quieter neutral tones all work together to create an atmosphere that feels inviting, expressive and effortlessly refined.

For this space, we wanted to move away from safe and predictable design choices and create something with personality and presence. The kind of interior that draws people in, encourages conversation and leaves a lasting impression long after they’ve walked away from it.

Bold pattern is often seen as a risk within commercial interiors, yet when it’s balanced properly it brings a level of character and individuality that minimal spaces can sometimes lack.

Personally, we think spaces should feel curated, immersive and full of atmosphere rather than simply functional.

Would you choose statement patterning in your own space, or do you naturally lean towards a more minimal aesthetic? 🌼
