This one started with the elements 🔥

From the initial concept, nature inspired the colour, textures and materials within this scheme. The carousel takes you through the process from our original CGI's through to the finished room, and how an initial idea can be carried through every layer of an interior.

Warm rust, ochre and amber tones create the foundation, balanced with neutral upholstery and strong black accents. The bespoke charred timber TV unit forms the focal point of the room, with illuminated niches and a fireplace bringing warmth and depth. Tactile fabrics, sculptural pieces and carefully selected accessories complete the scheme.

It’s an approach we bring to projects across the UK, creating bespoke interiors for specialist living environments, commercial spaces and luxury homes.

The best-designed spaces aren’t always the ones people spend the most time in.

Hallways are often overlooked, yet they’re one of the first things people experience when they enter a building. They shape first impressions, connect every room and influence how a space feels long before you’ve reached your destination.

Rather than treating corridors as empty walkways, we see them as an opportunity to add warmth, personality and purpose. Carefully chosen artwork, layered styling, sculptural accessories and occasional seating help transform transitional spaces into somewhere people actually enjoy moving through.

Behind every grand entrance is a story worth preserving 💛

At Davenham Hall, that story begins the moment you step through the door.

As a Grade II listed building, the entrance already possessed a remarkable sense of character through its original architectural features, from the decorative cornicing and striking fireplace to its generous proportions.

Our role wasn’t to redefine the space but to enhance it. A heritage-inspired botanical wallpaper, warm painted joinery and carefully selected furnishings were introduced to complement the building’s historic character, creating an entrance that feels both elegant and welcoming.

We believe the most successful heritage interiors don’t stand still. They evolve with care, respecting the past while creating spaces that continue to be enjoyed today.

World Wellbeing Week - Designing Spaces That Nurture Wellbeing 🧖‍♀️

When we think about wellbeing, we often focus on activities and routines. But the spaces around us play an equally important role in how we feel.

This salon and spa space was designed to create a sense of calm, comfort and familiarity. A palette of warm neutrals and soft taupe tones helps establish a relaxing atmosphere, while textured wallcoverings introduce depth and a connection to natural elements. The clean lines and uncluttered layout create a sense of order and ease, allowing residents to fully relax and enjoy the experience.

Thoughtfully selected furnishings combine comfort with elegance, offering a professional salon experience without feeling clinical. Illuminated mirrors provide soft, flattering light, while carefully placed planting and spa-inspired accessories add warmth and a touch of luxury.

The monochrome artwork brings personality and sophistication to the space, creating visual interest without overwhelming the calm aesthetic. Together, these elements help transform the salon into more than just a treatment room, it becomes a destination for self-care, confidence and connection.

For residents, these moments matter. A familiar salon visit, a fresh hairstyle or manicure, or simply spending time in a welcoming environment can support wellbeing, self-esteem and a sense of identity.

Everyone loves a cuppa ☕️

Whether it’s a morning coffee, afternoon tea with friends or a catch-up over biscuits, these simple rituals have a way of bringing people together.

That thinking was at the heart of this tea room design.

Before selecting colours, furniture or finishes, we first considered how the space would be used and the atmosphere we wanted to create. The goal was to capture the warmth and familiarity of a traditional tea room… somewhere residents and visitors would instantly recognise and feel comfortable using.

Soft neutral tones provide a calm backdrop, while cheerful yellow accents add warmth, character and optimism. Carefully styled shelving, familiar accessories and café-style tables help create a space that feels welcoming, purposeful and encourages conversation.

The result is an interior that doesn’t need explaining. Its purpose is understood the moment you walk through the door.

Because the most memorable interiors begin with a clear idea, not just a colour palette.

Designing for people starts with designing for their interests 📚

As more people rediscover the joy of reading thanks to communities like BookTok, we wanted to create a dedicated reading nook that celebrates the simple pleasure of getting lost in a good book.

The focus for this scheme extended far beyond furniture selection, the accessories, artwork, styling, and spatial planning played an equally important role in establishing the identity of the space. The vintage-inspired literary artwork, curated book collections, layered textures and decorative accessories all work together to create an environment with a clear purpose and sense of place.

It’s often the smaller details that have the biggest impact. Thoughtful styling helps transform a room from a functional space into an engaging destination, encouraging interaction, conversation and personal connection.

Research continues to demonstrate the positive effects of reading on wellbeing, cognitive health and social engagement, making dedicated reading spaces increasingly valuable across a wide range of settings.

While this project was created within a care setting, the same principles apply across hospitality, residential developments, workplace interiors and community spaces. Meaningful design begins with understanding how people want to spend their time and creating environments that support those experiences.

We believe the most successful spaces aren’t defined by trends alone. They’re shaped by the stories, interests and activities that bring them to life.

You saw the transformation. Now here’s a closer look at the details that made it happen 📸

Recently, we shared the transformation of our Oundle project. This week, we’re focusing on something that often gets overlooked.

Interior styling is often what transforms a beautifully decorated room into a beautifully designed home.

While before-and-after reveals showcase the overall impact of a space, it’s the carefully considered styling details that bring a scheme to life. From curated accessories and layered textures to statement florals, artwork and collected pieces, every element has a purpose.

For this room of the Oundle project, each accessory was selected to complement the rich colour palette, add warmth and character, and create a cohesive, layered interior that feels both elegant and inviting.

These finishing touches may seem small, but they’re what transform a room from looking complete to feeling complete.
