Hi I am Mary a mum of two with a Patchwork and Quilting habit. I love all things patchwork and spend hours looking at what other people have made. I have completed a City and Guilds in Patchwork and Quilting, and now teach others all about my obsession. Patchwork Dreamer really is a dream of mine, I started out just on line but in November 2019 I moved into the real world with a cabin on the edge of Cardinham woods. Classes and stock grew and in April 2024 I moved into the Market House Arcade in Bodmin where I have a light and airy studio for teaching and a bigger shop for lots of lovely fabric.

Craft and cuppa is on today this morning is 9.30 till 12.30 this afternoon 1.30 till 4.30 bring your textile craft and have a cuppa and chat with like minded folk.

Good morning ☀️
Well, here we are, another Monday morning! How do the weekends go by so quickly?
Autumn has definitely arrived here in Cornwall 🍂 We’ve even had the fire lit this weekend, so I think we can safely say the cosy season is upon us!
First job this morning is cutting all these lovely fabrics for your orders (thank you! ❤️), ready for a trip to the Post Office at 9am.
Then it’s back to the shop to get a haberdashery order sorted, do some preparation for a class and hopefully squeeze in a little sewing of my own.
I’m also toying with the idea of joining in with Moda’s Blockheads 7, which started last Wednesday. Because obviously I haven’t got enough projects on the go already! 😂🧵
Is anyone else taking part? Or are you thinking about joining in? I’d love to know!
Right, better get that rotary cutter moving!

It’s a belated good morning today. Our daughter has come home for the weekend so I have been frantically cooking her favourite potato dish and cooling it down so she can take back this afternoon. I have just sat down for a few minutes with my hand sewing. Love a bit of slow sewing on a Sunday. Have a lovely day whatever you are up to.
