Today was very busy

These ‘ol hands were on fast forward!

It was a real mix of folk today and that’s one of the things I love about the TeaRoom

The real randomness of it

People find it by mistake, or recommendation, are regulars or are other local businesses

Today I had the pleasure of hosting a birthday get together for the wonderful Jean of Bloemist Family Florist. They waited very patiently for their afternoon teas then spent time going through our old school photos from Lacewood school (the centre is the original)

I had regulars who also waited patiently to be served - one of them I literally threw spare triangles of spare afternoon tea sandwiches while she shared her husbands coffee until I had chance to make her one 🤣

A couple of young mum’s and their lovely children and the gorgeous Carmel from Newsomes Funeral Directors who had brought her mum for a festive feast.

I’m very grateful you choose to come to the TeaRoom and also grateful that you wait patiently

Me and Jean had a chat about how tricky it is knowing when to get help in as you just cannot gage when you’re going to be busy enough

Happiest of birthdays (for tomorrow) Jean and thank you for you and your friends for choosing the TeaRoom 💛💛💛

No photos - too busy 🤣

Join us back at The SchoolRoom TeaRoom this November It’s our Psychic Supper Evening
Simon Goodfellow is a spiritual medium with over 23 years of experience, known for his grounded, compassionate, and deeply personal approach to mediumship. His work isn’t about theatrics or mystery — it’s about connection, clarity, and real human moments. Simon’s journey into mediumship didn’t begin with certainty, but with curiosity. Over time, he learned to trust subtle feelings, impressions, and intuition — developing a skill that has since helped thousands of people find comfort, understanding, and direction in their lives. 🔮 What makes this different Simon doesn’t just deliver messages — he helps people make sense of them. His approach focuses on: Clarity over confusion Comfort over fear Empowerment over dependency Whether connecting with loved ones or offering guidance, his readings are known for being genuine, uplifting, and deeply meaningful. 💭 The experience This evening is about more than mediumship. It’s about: Finding closure where it’s needed Feeling connected to something beyond the everyday Leaving with a sense of peace, perspective, or curiosity There may be emotional moments. There may be lightness and laughter. Often, there’s both. 🌿 A grounded approach Simon believes that mediumship should feel accessible and real, not distant or mystical for the sake of it. His work is rooted in the idea that: We all have intuition We all experience moments we can’t explain And with the right guidance, we can begin to understand them 🔚 Final Note You don’t need to arrive believing anything in particular. Just come as you are 💜 — curious, open, or simply interested in the experience. Because more often than not, people leave with something they didn’t expect… but exactly what they needed. book your Tickets early

It’s been hectic this week.

The marvellous Kat Scott from The Gentle Rebellion Chronic Pain Support Group asked me some time ago if I’d open up on an evening

Her group wanted somewhere more intimate, nurturing, welcoming and if an evening.

I do a lot of hours for the centre (in and at home and daily) never mind the actual TeaRoom BUT how could I say no?

It’s once a month but it could be EVERYTHING to the folk that may not be able to meet up with others for a variety of reasons

So I said yes

Obvs

It was great to see everyone crafting and chatting last night and I hope that everyone got a lot from it

It was a pleasure to have you all here ❤️❤️
