⚽️ COME ON ENGLAND! ⚽️

Tonight we’re swapping candles for football and showing our support for the Three Lions all the way from Lancashire to Dallas, Texas! 🤍❤️

Hopefully it’s a sign of things to come because England had already found the back of the net before I even managed to get this post uploaded! 🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who visited me yesterday at the Last Drop Village Artisan Market. 🕯️✨

It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, meet new customers and spend the day talking all things home fragrance. The support shown to The Lancashire Candle Company never goes unnoticed, and I’m incredibly grateful for every purchase, recommendation and conversation.

In typical fashion, I was so busy throughout the day that I completely forgot to take any photos! 📸🙈 I suppose that’s never a bad sign at an artisan market.

After a busy week getting back into the swing of things following our holiday, it was the perfect way to round off the weekend.

Thank you again to everyone who stopped by my stall. Your support allows me to keep doing what I love and continue growing this little business.

Well… almost! 😅

Today was my first proper mountain climb and what an experience it was. We set out to tackle Helvellyn and made it to within touching distance of the summit before the weather had other ideas.

The higher we climbed, the stronger the winds became until we were battling what felt like gale-force gusts. As much as we wanted to push on, we made the decision to turn back just short of the top.

Of course, it’s a little disappointing not to have reached the summit, but the views, the challenge and the experience made it more than worthwhile. Sometimes the mountain wins, and that’s okay.

I’m incredibly proud of how far we got, especially for my first big climb. The Lakes never disappoint, and we’ll definitely be back to finish what we started.

Now for a hot shower, aching legs and an early night before you can find me at The Last Drop tomorrow!

A huge thank you to everyone for your support whilst I’ve been away, and for your patience since I’ve returned. ❤️

It’s been a very busy week getting back into the swing of things. Alongside catching up with The Lancashire Candle Company, I’ve been helping my partner get his business back up to speed after our little break, making sure customer orders are packed and on their way.

I’m definitely ready for the weekend now! Tomorrow we’re taking on the challenge of climbing Helvellyn before I’m back doing what I love on Sunday at the Last Drop Village Artisan Fair with the wonderful A Year of Dates.

If you’re local, pop by and say hello. I’ll have a selection of candles, wax melts, refillable candles, reed diffusers and more available, and it would be lovely to see some familiar faces.

After 10 wonderful days away in France, today is all about slowing down and soaking up a little more time outdoors before reality kicks back in tomorrow. 🥾☀️

Sunday morning hiking in the Peak District with my favourite person, fresh air in our lungs, and beautiful views all around.

Tomorrow it’s back to work, back to the studio, and back to doing what I love. ❤️

A little before & after 👀

Today marks the penultimate day of our French holiday, and with the weather in Bordeaux being a little less than inspiring ☔️, I decided to spend some time working behind the scenes on something that’s been on my to-do list for a while…

The old collections page vs the new Shop page.

As The Lancashire Candle Company has grown, the old page was becoming harder to navigate. The new Shop page has been designed to make browsing fragrances and product collections much simpler, cleaner and more enjoyable.
