Reminder for your diaries… the next Harwood Artisan Markets is on Saturday 14th November.

We have over 50 stalls as always. With such a wide variety of beautiful products and produce. So much handmade with love.

What an amazing Harwood Artisan Market we had yesterday!

It was an incredibly busy, sunny and enjoyable Harwood Artisan Market and we would like to thank everyone who visited, brought, supported or had a stall.

I witnessed a number of acts of kindness, which made me realise that not only are the markets, amazing, they bring our community together, unite young and old, those who live near or far and show how shopping local means so much more…

One lady had made a little girl a special dolly dress as she always wanted one and gave it to her as a gift. Watching her face light up was pure magic. Another lady bought a card for a young lady as she didn’t quite have enough money and wouldn’t accept anything only a thanks! Another stall holder made an OAG volunteer her a sunflower plant as she loves them. All random acts of kindness, by local people!

We also raised £1890 for HMC and Bolton Trust Music 🎶

We will be back on Saturday 14th November and there will be lots of the C bomb 🎅🏼 things on offer!

Hi, We are a Mother and Daughter crafting duo... Adele and Laura at HeArtsanddesign.
All our goods are either hand painted or sewn and would make beautiful gifts for all sorts of occasions, either for loved ones or to treat yourself.
From memory bears, aprons and bags to hand painted plant pots, grass heads and our ever popular painted pebbles.
We love what we do and are happy to discuss any requests or special ideas you may have. We also take orders for memory bears, animals or cushions 🥰😊

This morning’s spotlight is from Alison Bell Jewellery

Alison is a local artisan jeweller whose practice explores the relationship between metal, colour, texture and transformation. Working primarily in copper and 925 sterling silver and semi-precious stones. She hand-forges and individually forms each piece, creating jewellery that sits between functional craft and wearable art.

Her signature blue collection is created through the controlled use of patination, allowing the metal to develop rich and unpredictable tones, textures and patterns. Each surface is unique, ensuring that no two pieces can ever be exactly replicated.

Alison’s work celebrates the beauty of individuality, imperfection and process — creating distinctive pieces to be worn, cherished and enjoyed every day.
