Day Seven of driving from Bonsall Derbyshire to Le**os Greece. Well today we say goodbye to Sonia & Francesco. Thank you for looking after Woody and I so well! Sonia drove us to a local Spa shot, absolutely loved the dog friendly trolly! Got supplies for the ferry and the next few days! Said our goodbyes and drove the short distance to the port, checked in and boarded the ferry. It’s a 17 hour trip to land 8.30am in Patras mainland Greece. Woidy has his comfortable bed and I packed a camping airbed, blanket, noise cancelling headphones, eye mask, a good book, drinks and good food! 328miles travelled via water, will have to add today’s driving miles into tomorrow’s total! A running total of 1991 miles! See you in Greece! ***an

Day Six of driving from Bonsall Derbyshire to Lesvos Greece. Last little bit of the east coast of Italy to navigate. Looking forward to being still tonight and going for a dip in the sea! ***an

Day Five of driving from Bonsall, Derbyshire to Lesvos, Greece! Hottest day so far at 37 degrees, so glad to reach the coast and have a dip! Miles travelled today 300! With a running total of …1476. Now only 186 miles to go to arrive in Bari! Also managed to do my steps, my watch died but the phone says 10,434.

Day five of driving from Bonsall Derbyshire to Lesvos! Ohhhhhh it’s so hot! 474 miles to Bari to get the ferry to mainland Greece. Heading for the east coast today. Hopefully about 170 miles to the beach! Anyone for a paddle? Thank you for coming along on my travels! ***an

It really is day four of driving to Lesvos! Started the day up in the beautiful Montains, had a quick walk around Innsbruck ( need to check if I have to pay a clean air fee!). Then .hicklin suggested Lake Garda, so did a bit of a drive by. Couldn’t find a suitable parking spot for Beryl. So then headed towards the East coast. Resting now, so that will be our first stop tomorrow. It’s super hot, tops of 35 degrees today! Miles travelled today ….258, with a running total of 1176! Life is good! Thank you so much for all your well wishes it’s lovely to receive them. Oh and also did my 10,000 steps. Do you fancy joining me? All aboard! Now less than 500 miles to reach Bari and my ferry! ***an

Day Four not five! Wowzers Austria is so beautiful. 700 miles to Bari Italy to catch a ferry to Greece!
