Compact rooms need thoughtful design to make the most of every inch. BUT that doesn’t mean they have to be boring.

Here, a mix of two different tiles and contrasting tile layouts, adds unexpected interest and personality.

However, the real success of this bathroom design is the swinging shower door. It creates a spacious and practical shower, while allowing full use of the surface floor area for all other bathroom activity 🚿 🫧 🕺🏽

Which means content (that takes hours to create) sometimes takes a back seat - especially when it barely gets seen 👀

Beige interiors aren’t really our thing!

That’s why no two projects we design are ever the same. Every interior is shaped around the people who use it, resulting in spaces that feel distinctive, thoughtful and entirely their own.

Because great design isn’t about following trends. It’s about creating interiors that feel right, and that could only belong to 🫵🏽

In a time when the value of an interior designer is being questioned, hearing this isn’t just hilarious, it’s deeply validating.

Because what I really bring to the table isn’t “just” good taste. 🔸 It’s clarity in the chaos.
🔹 It’s confident decision making.

Behind every project there are weeks of design, planning, plotting and scheduling before the transformative work can even begin…

When the work begins, there are still constant decisions that need to be made, orders to be placed, last minute schedules to be adjusted and the all important site visits to ensure your design is being executed to its full. Did I forget to mention all the back and forth calls with the contractors, suppliers and of course the clients. Sometimes I feel like a work in a call centre 😂

But the reward is when things start to take shape and you finally see things come alive ✨

Seriously, interior design is not easy. It can be mentally exhausting managing so many moving parts - different factors, people, and quite often egos…

Agggghhhhhhhh I just want to fluff pillows, because that’s all interior designers APPARENTLY do, right? 🫣

2016 is calling!

Apart from a lot more greys in my beard (obvs not on my head) and a few extra pounds🤭 I think I look the same, and definitely act the same too 😂

The biggest career highlight of the year was that for the first time, I had my work featured in a UK interior design magazine. In addition, I worked on my first commercial project, designed some fabric, and as always, continued to inject plenty of colour and pattern into residential homes 🌈
