This week’s six-piece selection moves from Victorian mahogany to mid-century display furniture, with a few useful smaller finds in between. There is a glazed Victorian dresser with astragal doors, a Turnidge bow-front cabinet with etched glass, a compact Scandinavian-style writing desk, and carved oak details in both the hall chair and floor lamp. The carved music stool is a handy small piece with storage beneath its upholstered seat.
It is a fair snapshot of the vintage, antique and second-hand furniture we deal in at The Furniture Recycling Shop in Bourne End. Open the individual photographs for further information on each item, then browse online or call in if something suits your room.
