🗡️ When we were first asked if we’d like to go to the elite Commando Training Centre in Lympstone, we thought we were being asked to become part of the Royal Navy’s elite amphibious force, operating in some of the most extreme environments in the world.
We were quickly put at ease when it was explained that we were being tasked with replacing the glass mirrors in the gymnasium.
Case Study: RM Commando Training Centre recently underwent a renovation project to replace the glass mirrors in their gymnasium. Tower Glass were tasked with completing this project, with Tower Glass manufacturing the mirrors and Trade Sliders handling the installation.
Tower Glass, a trusted glass manufacturing company, manufactured 21 x 6mm thick mirrors that were polished all around. These high-quality mirrors were delivered directly to the Training Centre within 48 hours of ordering. This quick turnaround time ensured that the project stayed on track and met the client's tight deadlines.
Trade Sliders, known for their excellent installation work, completed the installation of the mirrors within a 7-day turnaround. They began by removing the existing mirrors from the walls of the gymnasium and then proceeded to install new 75mm deep timber frames. The mirrors were then bonded onto the timber frames to create a finished product.
Overall, the project was a success and received high praise from CSgt Mason RM, who was in charge of the project. In a testimonial, CSgt Mason RM expressed his satisfaction with the project, stating that the mirrors looked brilliant once installed. He also commended Brad for his clear communication and pragmatic approach throughout the project. The installing team was also praised for their work ethic and professionalism, further solidifying Tower Glass & Trade Sliders' reputation for excellence.
The success of this project can be attributed to the collaboration between Tower Glass & Trade Sliders. By working together seamlessly, we were able to deliver high-quality mirrors and expert installation services within a tight timeframe. This collaboration highlights the importance of partnering with trusted and reliable companies to ensure the success of renovation and construction projects.
In conclusion, the project to replace the glass mirrors in the gymnasium of the Royal Marine Commando Centre was a resounding success. Tower Glass & Trade Sliders worked together to deliver high-quality mirrors and expert installation services that exceeded the client's expectations.
As a result, CSgt Mason RM has expressed his intention to recommend Tower Glass & Trade Sliders to other Royal Marine Units, cementing our reputation as a trusted and reliable partner for renovation projects in the Ministry of Defence.
