Pottery Shop, Centurion House, 19-21 Woodside Road, Southbourne, Bournemouth, BH5 2BA. Open Tuesdays 11-4 or by appointment. Hi I'm Jan!

My pottery creations are functional and made to be used and celebrated daily. I am a Dorset based ceramicist. The majority of my work is made using a white stoneware porcelain and thrown on the potter's wheel. My pieces are functional and I make them to be used daily. I produce tableware to make every meal a bit more special and to enhance the eating experience. This is accomplished through their shape, style, colour and feel. If you like the idea of owning a unique, handmade piece then check out my online shop: www.madebypowley.co.uk

The latest mug to be listed. It takes me SO long to create each listing because most of my pottery pieces are unique. This listing had the added complication of capturing a difficult colour! Maybe it's only me!!! Any suggestions, hints or shortcuts gratefully received!

Love popping out in Wimborne for a restock and a visit with my buddy Managed a walk along the seaside and a short visit to my pottery studio to attach some handles on new b**r mugs (or mugs for tea or coffee lovers).
