Amamini Flowers Artful • Seasonally Inspired • Eco Minded • Weddings • Events • Floristry • Wiltshire Studio This page is about my floristry business, Amamini Flowers.

I am a Wedding and Event florist. I do seasonal workshops. I supply beautiful seasonal flowers throughout the year for a variety of occasions and functions. 48 hours noticed is required for orders. My work is seasonally inspired and details driven. I am studio based without a shop front and overheads associated with running a shop. My work therefore offers excellent value for the floristry I produce. This page seeks to show the passion I have for flowers and my work as a florist.

Facebook reminded me that 4 years ago today Becca & Tom got married
One of the many couples I’ve created flowers for in the past 8 years.

Becca’s Bouquet did have seasonal flowers such as Ranunculus & Broom but an all round pretty pale pinks & textural flowers made up the majority of her palette. The most notable aspect was using a long piece of white tulle as a bind ribbon to fall long against her tulle skirted wedding dress. Long ribbons aren’t often asked for but they do make a very pretty feature if they connect to the dress.

The final photo shows a heart filled with flowers. It hung above the mantle in the ceremony. Becca loved it, took it home & it would have lasted for weeks. I could still be making flower filled floral foam hearts. It had a lot of love. I used my jewellery training to scattered flowers in colour, texture & detailed with a pleasing outcome. But I think a line in the sand has to drawn not to use a product that doesn’t decompose environmentally.

I love creating containers of bulbs .. setting them in compotes or tiny tea light holders!

I little dot of colour from blue Muscari “smile” or scented white Hyacinths & Paperwhites placed about my home in winter is lovely.
In a lovely container whatever the size, to become the floral element that I believe gives ones home life. Flowers that flatter the style or fixed elements of your home & speak of the seasons outside.

I always add my favourite contorted Hazel not only as a support when the bulbs emerge & grow taller but to add interest to these bulb filled containers until the bulbs grow..

Containers of bulbs are to be one of my winter subscription months

Winter Wreath creating 2021 has come to an end!
I’m not sure my hands can take much more … hahaha!

However, I hope all in a good cause, to celebrate the season with floral loveliness. With ingredients brought, in the main from Europe, cut from my garden or foraged from the lovely garden at Camsie house, Fife

Each & every one of the 20 wreaths I’ve made this season is a one off, with thoughts to the door they will adorn & the customer they will hopefully be enjoyed by.

I’ve put a lot of thought & love into my wreaths … maybe this will be my last year of making them … here’s a few of the none asymmetrical wreaths to enjoy!

Many Congratulations to Leah & Sam who celebrated their wedding last Saturday .grange

Like many couples they had waited a long time to do so …

Leah had been delightfully relaxed about the flower choice as the seasons & wedding dates changed, however including feathers & a richly coloured floral palette were two of her wishes…

Perfect for Winter I used Claret coloured Anemones & the last rich burgundy Scabious of the season from a Dutch grower, to these adding pink Narines, white Freesia for scent, along with two types of Mimosa foliage & for the feathers, white Peacock feathers.*

I used a really lovely & delicate fine petalled Amaryllis as the feature flower for two pedestal arrangements, they with the Peacock feathers & feather like Mimosa foliage gave a gentle nod to the 20’s, a vibe Leah & Sam had evoked for their wedding ceremony.

The Amaryllis also worked really successfully I felt for Leah’s Bridesmaids Bouquet .der.ende.flowers.amaryllis

In the pretty dining room there were round tables with compotes of flowers, fluffy grasses, feathers & foliage, including one of my top three flowers; Tulips, grown by

Finding a few “baby” Tulips on a stem, I was able to use them for Sam & his best mans Buttonholes.

I’ve created far fewer wedding flowers in 2021, so it was very good to be back at this lovely local wedding venue again, creating flowers.

*White Peacock feathers are a bleached product. I wasn’t aware when I brought them a few years ago of the environmental damage bleaching does. While I won’t buy bleached products now, not using these at all seemed a waste…

I had made an Easter door wreath for the customer in photo 1.. she has cottage sized door & so this compact wreath sprinkled with a variety of rose hips & gold sprayed poppy seed heads gives this wreath a pretty jewel like quantity I think?

However photo 3 is large, bold & little wilder for a wide Tetbury country house door. It has movement & flow created with a variety of foliage’s & red skimmia.

In the final photo a wreath for a Freshford village door, a mixture of flow & jewel like natural elements … however the birds do enjoy Rose hips too!!

These Vienna Copper Chrysanthemums were just so beautiful I thought they deserved their place on my grid, their five minutes of fame!

First the colour, so elegant an apricot, soft & sophisticated on their outer petals, blushy pink inside. The size of their flower heads my cupped palms. Their longevity legendary!

The perfect Autumn flower for the home. I loved gifting them recently to a big flower fan & friend & then coming home & arranging my own vase for my kitchen with autumn oaks, & a few textural grasses… for me it’s been floral perfection as we see out the last days of Autumn & November.

A Wreath, a ring, an ever lasting symbol of life!

A wreath on the front door is one of welcome in winter months.

My wreaths are definitely detailed, full of ingredients, giving a luxurious feel, perhaps neater than many, too neat for some.. they reflect me, my style & the way I work, with the type of outcomes I enjoy completing for each of my customers. They may not be everyone’s choice, but each is carefully considered & I know enjoyed by my loyal customers each year…

Who ever you choose to buy from, enjoy the creativity & care each wreath has taken to create.

Of course let them be
