Self-reflection is necessary, but too much self-reflection will make you loose your marbles. A few trends I noticed as a brand new florist studio owner. Honestly, you can’t help but laugh. 😂

The pressure I put on myself to ‘get it right’ without a clear picture what ‘right’ looks like is bound to lead to contradictions.

But it’s never too late to learn and adjust. 💐

A new regular on our website. With colder and darker days ahead I really needed some sunshine in a bouquet. And here she is, ‘And it was all yellow’ (again, name suggestions welcome).

You can’t do this job without actually loving flowers. There’s no such thing as leftover flowers here. They will serve until their last petal. Even if it is in our kitchen.

If it were down to me you wouldn’t see my face on here. You’d see pictures of lovely flowers all day, every day. But it’s not enough nowadays, without a physical storefront there’s no getting away from social media. Even if you are quite introverted, you need to show up.

This is very exciting! Bramley Blooms will be at the Silchester Market on Saturday, November 7th! We’ll be taking pre-orders, as well as supplying on the spot selection of bunches and bouquets. Come along, it’s a lovely market with lots of wonderful produce.

In an ideal world everyone you care about would live in the same cul de sac. Unfortunately, life doesn’t work that way and you sometimes find yourselves too far away, when a hug is really needed. Flowers can’t replace the actual hug, but they can show someone you are there with them in spirit. It’s a small token that carries big meaning.
