A beautiful room is one thing, but getting it to feel just right can be quite another.

For me, it all starts with the furniture, how it's arranged, how people move around the room and, most importantly, how it feels to spend time there.

I've always loved using deep, rich colours, and one of my favourite transformations was a tiny bedroom that became a wonderfully cosy, cocoon-like space.

A quick peek into one of the bedrooms of my current Edinburgh project.

Creating a room that feels inviting is all about a feel. By choosing different colours, textures, patterns and shapes it feels curated over time. Every decision I made for this bedroom was to make it feel just as it looks, cosy yet elegant, colourful yet calm and of course don’t forget to choose a comfy mattress!

Full disclosure, room isn’t finished yet. There’s no linen on the bed 😁

What a gorgeous project that was completed in just 3 weeks. (Okay that’s not normal 🤣)

This beautiful church conversation has gone from zero to hero with rich, warm and inviting colours, bold artwork, a hero rug, soft lighting and lots of natural textures.
