That feeling of pure happiness when you slow down, let go, and simply enjoy the moment.

And just like that… half term is here! ✨🎃 A little pause from the everyday rush, a chance to make memories, enjoy the little things, get creative, and spend precious time together.

At Peque Artists , we believe creativity blossoms when little minds have the freedom to explore, play, and simply be. 🎨✨

This half term, the fun continues with our Halloween workshops! 🎃👻 Two days of creativity, spooky surprises, and lots of Halloween fun! We can’t wait to see some of you there and get crafting together. 🧡

🍊🍎 AN APPLE A DAY, a fun break away.

Last Tuesday at our Home-Ed Club we had so much fun applying the colour theory that we learned previously into our fruit masterpieces.

Halloween costumes on, pencil in hand, painting colours next to the canvas, and the best guidance, that’s all we needed to had a superb time.

Apples, oranges showing colour contrast and made with single shapes. The results were amazing. Well done everyone!!

At .artists we like to offer every family the chance to create freely and expressively. If you know anyone who are being homeschooled, share this post with them. We love welcoming new young artists!

🎃👻 SPOOKY CHARACTERS AND MESSY HANDS! 🧡🖐️

Last week at Mixed Media Club .artists, our young artists got hands-on with clay, cardboard, paint and all sorts of exciting materials to create their very own Halloween characters! 🦇🧙‍♀️

From squishing and shaping clay to painting and experimenting with different textures, we had a frightfully good time exploring, creating and letting our imaginations run wild! 🎨✨

🎨 Meet Helen Frankenthaler: the artist who wasn’t afraid to let paint do its own thing!

Helen was an American artist who loved experimenting with colours, textures and unexpected techniques. She helped change the art world by finding playful, expressive ways to make paint flow and spread across a canvas.

Her painting “21st Street Studio” (1950) invites us to look closer at all the colours, marks and textures. Who knew a studio could inspire so much creativity?

At Peque Artists, we love exploring art, trying new techniques and discovering that there’s no single right way to create! 💛

🌹 FLOWERS, ANYONE? 🌹

Who doesn’t love roses? And what’s better than a real rose? Creating your very own, one pencil stroke at a time! ✏️

Last week at .artists Drawing Club 9+ , we explored the beauty of roses, focusing on the techniques that bring a flower to life, from carefully observing the shape and layered petals to building up shading, depth and delicate details. ✏️🌹

And guess what? It’s Thursday, which means DRAWING CLUB IS ON! 🎉

🕸️ONCE UPON A SPIDER… TELLING A HALLOWEEN STORY! 🕷️🎨

We LOVE October at .artists ! The costumes, the accessories, the imagination and all the ways everyone expresses themselves. 🧡🖤

At our Mixed Media sessions, we let creativity run wild! This time, we painted spiders; some cute, some scary and one artist decided a Halloween cat was the way to go. 🐈‍⬛ Why not?!

The only rule? Keep it Halloween-themed! 🎃
Everything else is up to you. Experiment, play, mix materials and make it your own.

We can’t wait to see what spooky stories unfold at our next session!

From hummingbirds to imaginative characters, our Adult Art Class is full of unique projects, personal ideas and creative journeys. Everyone works on their own project over several weeks, with our guidance and support along the way.

Fancy a little creative escape? You don’t need to be an artist to join us, just bring yourself and a little curiosity!
