A little honesty about pricing…

This XL artificial hanging basket sells for £80 and costs me £68 in materials alone.

Over the last few years, the cost of artificial flowers and supplies has risen dramatically. Like many small businesses, I’ve had to absorb as much of those increases as possible because I know customers are also facing rising living costs.

The result is that while prices may seem higher than they used to be, the profit behind them is often much lower than people imagine.

I love creating and I’m incredibly grateful for every order, but the reality is that it is becoming increasingly difficult for small creative businesses to continue producing quality work while material costs continue to rise.
