🏠 Before & After — Kitchen, Lounge & Doors 🎨
This one was all about the prep.
The walls were in a rough state — holes, cracks, bad prep from previous work, and hugely mismatched textures and porosities throughout. A stabilising solution went on first just to get everything to a consistent base before we could even think about paint.
Gaps around the skirtings were caulked out, and the dark brown woodwork — doors, frames, architraves, skirting — was fully prepped, primed and painted white. Four coats in total to completely obliterate that brown. Worth every one.
We also added a feature wall at the end of the dining area in a soft grey, with the inside of the archway picked out in the same colour to tie it together and break up all that white.
The difference between the before and after here isn't just paint — it's hours of prep that most people never see. 🤍
