Farewell to 2025.
Despite my heart breaking over the continued suffering in this world. My hope for the new year ahead remains resolutely the same.
May we choose love, respect and community in place of hate, division and greed.
May we learn to live together in harmony, respecting all living things and work as one to heal, cherish, grow and nourish our connections on this beautiful planet we are so privileged to call home.
For me personally, 2025 has been full of epic opportunities that I have most definitely made the most of.
It has also brought me my 50th year which I am still getting my head around as I still feel the same person I have always been. That said, I am really enjoying the added wisdom and feeling of freedom that comes with life experience, increased knowledge and understanding. It has been a strange, sometimes hard, overwhelming and wonderfully rewarding journey of discovery so far and I am unapologetically ready for so much more.
For now, here are a collection of my favourite sun shadows of the year, along with our magic sea and the final sunrise of 2025, witnessed this morning with my sea sisters.
Not forgetting the obligatory 50th selfie. Shot after a birthday sea walk, with the usual “pulled through a hedge backwards” hairstyle I rock so well.
