And just like that, our 3 Week Fun with Flowers course has come to an end! 🧡🌸

We had such a lovely time at our final workshop, creating these gorgeous autumn pumpkin arrangements using the plant-based OASIS® Renewal Floral Foam 🎃🍂

It’s been a fab three weeks, with lots of flowers, chatting, laughter and some really lovely creations along the way!

A big thank you to everyone who came along, it’s been so nice spending time together getting creative with flowers. 💕

Now it’s time to put the pumpkins away and get ready for Christmas! 🎄✨

Our Christmas Wreath workshops start on Wednesday 25th November and we can’t wait to get into the festive spirit with you all! ❤️

I know we’re only in October but we’re already starting to think about Christmas! 🎄

I’ve been having a little play with some lovely festive packaging from and thought I’d do something a bit different with the colours this year.

Christmas doesn’t always have to be all reds and greens does it? I’ve gone for pinks, purples and a bit of fresh fir, and I’ve given the dried hydrangeas a spray with OASIS copper spray paint for a little bit of extra colour.

I’ve used the lovely rose gold Isla vase tucked inside the kraft Porto box, added the pink Christmas tree wrapping and finished it off with that pretty pink velvet bow.

It’s nice to have a play around with different ideas before the Christmas madness starts!

I’ve been making another shower bouquet, and I just love these colours together! 💜💚

All those lovely purples, lilacs and fresh greens, with plenty of texture too!

I’m using an Countess Bouquet Holder again, starting at the bottom and working my way up. No wiring needed this time as there aren’t quite so many trailing stems, so straight into the foam they go!

I do love those little clematis flowers dancing around the edges, and the bright green chrysanthemums really make everything pop!

It all started with a lilac hydrangea… 💜

And here’s what we created at Wednesday night’s Flower School!

This week we fancied doing something a bit different from the usual round hand-tied.

We started by creating a long, open framework with branches, then added our flowers, keeping everything loose and natural to give us that lovely wide shape.

A few bits sticking out here and there, but that’s exactly what we wanted! 😂

I loved how these turned out, and everyone went home with something a little different. 💐

Oh my gourd, look at these little cuties! 🎃😂

Apparently I can’t even leave a pumpkin alone without sticking flowers in it! 🤣🌸

I’ve been having a little play with these today and I’m rather pleased with how they’ve turned out… even if I do say so myself! 🧡

They’re just £8 each, so if one takes your fancy, you’d butter-nut hang about! 😂

Right, that’s enough pumpkin nonsense from me… for now! 🎃🤣

A bit of colour for you today! 🌸💛💜

I absolutely love making these bright and colourful funeral sprays. There’s something so lovely about mixing all the different flowers together and seeing how it turns out.

Lots of gorgeous colours and textures in this one, and I especially love how the orange and yellow flowers really pop against the pinks and purples.

Such a lovely way to celebrate someone’s life with flowers 💕

🐴 Four Floral Horseshoes 🧡

Something a little different in today’s timelapse as I make four matching floral horseshoes for a gentleman who loved horses.

I cut the horseshoe shapes out of Design Sheet and then filled them with a mixture of warm oranges, golden yellows and softer peach tones, along with plenty of foliage.

The family wanted all four horseshoes to sit together on top of his coffin, which I thought was such a lovely, personal way to remember him.

It’s always special to create funeral flowers that reflect something someone loved so much in life. 🧡

They wanted a floral tribute, but didn’t actually want any flowers! ❤️

So we decided to do something a little different and use succulents instead.

For this heart, I’m using one of the new OASIS Renewal Open Heart bases, which combines Renewal Floral Foam with a home compostable BioLit base.

I wanted to keep the whole design really natural, with a woodland feel, so I’ve added lots of interesting foliage, berries, thistles and autumnal textures around the succulents.

I absolutely loved making this one. It’s a little different from the usual funeral hearts, but that’s what I love about creating personal tributes. They don’t always have to follow tradition.

And I think the succulents work beautifully in this design. ❤️

A little look back at Wednesday’s first session of our three-week Fun with Flowers course! 🌸🌿

We started by creating an arrangement using a brick of OASIS Renewal Floral Foam in a Porto Vase.

It was a lovely opportunity to play around with different flower shapes, textures and heights, gradually building up the design and seeing how it all came together.

One of my favourite things about teaching is seeing how everyone puts their own little twist on an arrangement. Even when we’re all starting with the same materials, no two designs ever turn out quite the same!

A lovely start to our three weeks of flower arranging, and I hope you enjoy watching this one come together. 💚

I do love working with all these gorgeous autumnal colours at this time of year! 🍂🍁

For this double-ended coffin spray, I’ve gone with a lovely mixture of warm oranges, rich reds and golden yellows, along with lots of different foliages to give it that natural, autumnal feel.

I’m using Renewal Floral Foam in a BioLit tray for this one, building up the shape with my foliages before gradually adding all the flowers.

There’s something about these autumn shades that just works so beautifully together, and I love watching all the different colours and textures come together as the arrangement takes shape.

A lovely tribute to create, and such a beautiful combination of seasonal colours. ❤️
