Oh I had fun designing this one!

My lovely client wanted a large, high capacity kitchen made for entertaining. She said “go wild” with the colour palette and we certainly brought the sunshine to what was a dark, cut off, kitchen space. We redesigned the glazing to include a glass roof & bi folding door which now floods kitchen with natural light. We knocked through a structrual wall to create a beautiful arched doorway into the dining room, transforming the flow on the ground floor. The focal point is the bespoke dining & cocktail bar, beautifully tiled with green zillege tiles from

I loved the design journey we went on whilst working on this open plan kitchen, dining room & lounge for my lovely client in central Brighton. This was the full, Design, Purchasing & Project Coordination service. It was quite the transformation from dark, cluttered mismatched rooms, into a calm, Japanese inspired open plan living space.

We hosted our first life drawing class in the studio this week. Mulled wine, mince pies and so much creativity with the best bunch of people! It was an absolute a joy connect people with their creativity and to see everyone’s drawings progress from sketch to sketch. Huge thanks to for brilliant teaching skills and drawing demos, I learned so much. Thank you to everyone who came .designs to name a few.

Check out my dedicated kitchen brand THE KITCHEN LAB BRIGHTON. Anyone who knows me, knows I love designing kitchens more than any other space. I truly believe it’s where good interior design can benefit our lives the most.

I have been making kitchens for my clients in this way for sometime now and I am very passionate about the value a handmade kitchen can bring versus ‘off the shelf’ cabinets (for many reasons, not just because they are so bloody gorgeous to look at!) and I am lucky enough to have some talented joiners on board who feel the same way.

Bathroom envy! So pleased with the transformation of this family bathroom in Brighton. Absolutely love these encaustic handmade wall tiles we had made to order from Bert & May.
