⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another fantastic 5-star Google review!

There’s nothing better than welcoming back a happy customer! 🏡👏

A huge thank you to Sandy for this wonderful review following our latest sash window installation in a beautiful Edwardian property.

At Sussex Window Works, we know that replacing sash windows in period properties is about much more than simply fitting new windows.

🪟 Preserving the character of the property is just as important as the finished product.

Our team took extra care to fully restore the existing internal timberwork and sash box surrounds, ensuring the new windows blended seamlessly with the property’s original features.

We also carefully preserved the original external plaster window ledges, avoiding unnecessary damage and maintaining the building’s character.

It’s these finishing touches, often the most time-consuming part of an installation, that make all the difference. 🔨✨

We’re incredibly proud of our installers for consistently going above and beyond, and it’s fantastic to see their craftsmanship recognised by our customers.

Quality workmanship. Attention to detail. No shortcuts. ❤️

A nice before-and-after upgrade on this conservatory 👌

We replaced the old uPVC doors with a new Smart Systems aluminium bifold door, giving the customer a much wider opening, smoother operation and a cleaner, more modern finish.

The new bifolds also provide improved thermal efficiency while making it far easier to open the conservatory right up to the garden. A big improvement in both looks and everyday use.

September is a good time to catch small window and door issues before colder weather makes them harder to ignore.

A quick check now can save you from drafts, stiff hinges, and doors that do not close as smoothly when the temperature drops.

Look at the seals, weatherstripping, frames, and any signs of moisture or damage. A little attention now helps keep your home warmer and more comfortable.

What is the first thing you check?

Most homeowners compare windows and doors online by price, then miss the part that matters most: how they’ll actually look and work in their home.

A good fit should reflect your architecture, support everyday comfort, and feel right inside and out. That means looking beyond the product photo and checking the details that shape the finished result.

If you're weighing up options, choose the one that suits your home, not just the one that looks cheapest on screen.
