My little 'helper'. Not overly helpful but cute AF!
Getting to the finishing point of this project. A gift for someone that really should have been done before Xmas. My lack of cro-jo and increase in CFS/ME symptoms have made it really difficult to get my mind in the right place to get this project done... Even though it's technically a fairly small and simple one. I'm getting there now though!

This is 100% me right now. Or it definitely feels that way!

My craft-jo isn't playing ball with me at the moment.
I'm dealing with some CFS/ME crashes and it's taken a lot of my limited energy right now.

I feel sad and disappointed in myself as well as a bit lost because my creative outlet is suffering, as I feel like it's a huge part of me.
I'm trying to learn to be gentler with myself. I'm trying to tell myself that it will come back when it's good and ready. But I do need to take the time to look after myself and put my health first.

Slowly learning that I can't do everything all the time... And that's okay!

Definitely feeling this way at the moment! I'm sure my craft-jo will reappear at some point! Having a bit of an ME/CFS f...

Hi everyone 🤗

I've had quite a break from here due to work and health stress. I've finally (after 10 years of trying) got a professional diagnosis of CFS/ME. So I can finally get some much needed help and understanding.
However, motivation tends to hit a low when you aren't feeling like you can tackle much in life 😥 I'm getting ready to finally put myself first and do things that I want to do, rather than exhausting myself with things that really drain me, both physically, mentally, and emotionally.

I want to get going with crafting again and start putting myself out there more. I genuinely love making things and sharing them! The inner happiness and peace that comes from creating things is such a wonderful feeling.

One thing I'm looking at is my name... Is it okay? Should I look at a rebrand? Something simpler? Something more catchy?
I'm looking for some advice and would appreciate some opinions from you lovely lot!

I've been quiet for a while, but that doesn't mean I haven't been creative.
I decided to cross stitch this beautiful Peter Rabbit pattern as a gift for a friend and her newborn son.

I didn't want to share it until I'd gifted it. The second pic is a baby hat pattern from magazine that I decided to gift to the same friend ☺️

Hand making gifts is such a thoughtful process and helps to create with love rather than anything else.

This took a while to finish due to other things happening outside of my crafting world. But I'm so glad it's finally done!
