Wow what a crazy year it's been!!
Studying on a PGCE (Teacher Training) post graduate course has been an absolute roller coaster so far, consisting of hard graft on top of more hard graft, but even though it's challenging, it's been fantastic and only a third of the way through!
Here are the highlights so far.....
1. The amazing bunch of people I've met, the most supportive gang one could ever hope for and fantastic tutor, relieved and happy to have met them all....getting through the course together!
2. Learning to Pewter cast in the workshop.
3. Finishing my first practical project with my students who I absolutely love working with and seeing them design and make a creative project through to the end has been an absolute blast and teaching workshop skills has been a fantastic privilege.
4. Developing my sewing for my subject extension work.
5. Taking part in a design project in the Brighton lanes with my cohort designing and developing plans for a new cafe, learning how to teach design development to the next generation.
6. Being on campus and finding out about Spence architecture. It has blown my mind being back in a lecture theatre and getting the old brain working again, too!
