I'm looking for one or two Christmas markets in the SW that might be receptive to my Buddhist themed artwork and quirky alter candles. So far looking into Glastonbury Frost Fayre - any other ideas?

I feel very lucky to work for Karuna Trust because I get to go to places like this. Rivendell, nestled in the South Downs, is one of the most beautiful retreat centres I've been to. After a busy patch, getting to sit amongst the flowers and watch Spring unfold was exactly what I needed! And these stunning rupas were something else ✨ Also big thanks to Vajradarshini for providing some inspiring Dharma input. Feeling rejuvenated 🌿

A couple of years after I started this Tara I moved out of the area. 7 years later I picked it up again. People I had barely met on my old road stopped to have a chat and shared that this painting felt like a special part of the local landscape. A lovely older couple brought me choc ices every day, local dogs came by to sit with me/attempt to drink my paint water and I enjoyed numerous moments of connection as I painted. I'm waiting for the sun to come again before I finish this one, but so far, it's been such a pleasure being amongst the people and animals of St Pauls 💚
