The Hide Ranger ✨
Another new maker to join Prior in the last year! Emma runs The Hide Ranger from her Manchester based home studio. Creating beautiful leather pieces from surplus and reclaimed leather from sofa, shoe and saddle manufacturing in the U.K. Leather that would otherwise find itself in landfill. An idea we can get behind!
We’ve been stocking The Hide Ranger’s wallets, purses and key clips for the last 6months and they’ve been a big hit with our customers. We particularly love their key clips, so handy for organising your life and their outline wallets are brilliant for holding your cards and change. Check them out online or in store ✨

Our new windows are a riot of rainbow colour to celebrate the start of Pride month this June 🏳️‍🌈🙌🏻
It was very fun hunting around the shop at all our products looking for colourful, things to use and amazing how many of our products come in rainbow tones 🌈
Happy pride month to all, come down and see our windows in person everyday between 10-6pm Mon-Sat and 11-4 Sun ☀️

We know life feels out of control and hard for so many right now, but we have power in how and where we spend our money 💰
It shouldn’t be a surprise that keeping your money in the hands of local, independent shops and businesses means your hard earned money goes back into improving your local patch, and this recent study by the NEF & CLES proves it to be so too 🙌🏻
Many of our artists and makers are based in Bristol, paying for studios, using local suppliers and spending their money in the area too - which makes it a beautiful cycle when you shop with us at Prior ✨
As a not for profit we ensure that any profits are donated to projects doing good. In the past we’ve donated to the Black Curriculum, Refugee Support, Europe, we’ve run creative community workshops, provided startups and charities access to our workshops and ran a community portrait exhibition!
There’s so much power in where we choose to spend our money, plus we’ve got some pretty great products too!
