We’re so excited to share some of the new creative workshops and classes coming up at Brixham Sewing Box over the coming weeks and months ✂️🧵
Our workshops are designed to be more than just classes; they’re fully supported creative days out in a warm, relaxed and welcoming environment with expert tuition from teachers with many years of professional experience, plenty of individual help, lovely food, and a little time just for you.
Over the past few months we’ve also been carefully developing and upgrading our workshops to create a more premium experience for our students; with additional support throughout the day, quality refreshments, thoughtfully prepared class materials, and a stronger focus on individual guidance and confidence-building. We want people to leave not only having learned something new, but feeling inspired, encouraged and thoroughly looked after.🤗

Learn professional finishes including French seams, Hong Kong binding, stay stitching, shirring elastic, bagging out techniques and more while creating your own practical sewing journal to take home.

Fancy Feet - Getting to Know Your Sewing Machine - Part 2
Have you attended one of our popular “Getting to Know Your Sewing Machine” classes and want to take your skills further?
This progression workshop is designed to help you gain confidence using the different feet, accessories and decorative functions on your sewing machine - many of which most people never properly use. Using your machine, learn techniques including piping, appliqué, invisible zips, decorative stitches, free motion embroidery and more.
Level - open to people who have attended any of our ‘Getting to Know Your Sewing Machine’ classes.
