Long time since the last post. Been busy with my main job.

Here is something that we have managed to get done over the last couple of weeks.

The task was to install a cat/rabbit flap into the side of the Wendy house to allow access to the 3 metre by 2 metre run that we built.

900mm high to allow access to clean and play with the rabbits.

Hopefully the rabbits will enjoy the new scenery.

Hey people.

Been a while since the last post. Been busy with the day job and then a change in day job. Been away on holiday also but now we can get back to creating.

Very happy to bring this garden furniture set to life. This is the prototype and going forward I'm going to change a few wee things but nothing major.

This set comes with two chairs, a bench seat and a coffee table. It's designed to go with the Duvholmen cushion set from IKEA. It's comfortable enough on its own though.

They have a good weight to them so you won't need to worry about them flying around the garden in the winter. Strong and sturdy.

Hello folks. It's been a while since the last post but rest assured we have been busy over the winter. Mostly consisting of making shipping crates for our client Mailboxes Etc in Edinburgh.

We were also asked to make a memorial bench which is now proudly sat at Uphall Station bowling club.

This is a 3 seater bench which along with the 2 seater we made last summer now forms a collection for the garden.

We also made a single seat chair with folding legs to allow to recline(the wife is happy with this 🤣).

We are also doing planters again this year after taking a break from them last year.

We've been busy doing the living room in our house and now it's done I wanted a new coffee table to match with our new colour and set up.

Made completely from 3x2 construction lumber that I personally selected for the best ones. I then cut out all the best bits for the table and glued them together. The small knots that I couldn't avoid having have all been filled with epoxy to seal them.

The legs are tapered and been rounded over with the router.

Stained a warm graphite colour (grey) and sealed with 3 coats of clear varnish for extra protection.

Love how this has turned out and the boss is happy too 😄

Busy weekend getting in front of the workshop tidied up. Had to dig a fair bit of soil out so I was able to get the base for the decking level.

16 feet long and 3 feet wide base laid. 6 decking boards added on top and a small planter added at the end to top it off.

Really pleased with how it's transformed a horrible bit of the garden. Once the grass recovers(next year🤣) it will look so much better.

Well the last weekend and today was full on with this shed build for a returning customer. A 12'x8' (3.6mx2.4m) shed with a custom built door. Just a few wee things left to do like add the soffits and scrape the glue squeeze out on the door. Very happy customer and we are very pleased to have helped out.

We use better quality materials than your online shed companies. They use at best 1"x2" for the framing while we use 2"x2". 18mm OSB/Ply for the floor, 11mm OSB for the walls and 12mm for roof. These are the minimum sizes we use but can use thicker on request by customer.

Good morning people.

Been busy in the background but finally able to hand this garden bench over to the customer later on today. It's taken a wee bit longer than I wanted but I'd rather it went to the customer looking perfect.

Made from pressure treated timber. It's a three seater coming in at just over 5 feet long.

We can also laser engrave whatever you want on it for a small bit extra.

So after 2 hours and 10 minutes we have this engraving. Picture of myself, dad and brother after we had played the New course at St Andrews.

Will get some clear varnish on it tomorrow and framed up. Was meant to be ready today for father's day but having to play about with setting on the laser meant I didn't get it started till much later than I had hoped.

Very pleased with how it's turned out.
