Keepsake memory bears, blankets, cushions and more, made out of outgrown baby clothes OR a loved ones items that have died.
(202)

Wedding dresses, uniforms, dog blankets and more can be used to make unique handmade keepsakes. I have recently become a mother to my beautiful daughter Hollie and like all parents i can relate to how special, overwhelming and magical it is to make a life and watch them grow. I decided to make something that would remind me on a daily basis of all those special memories. My memory bears have had such positive feedback that i decided to offer my skills and services to other parents who would also like to own something truly unique rather than the usual generic items we all end up buying. I come from a design background studying Fashion Marketing at University and worked in the Fashion industry for many years. I therefore have a good knowledge regarding design, sewing and crafts after using patterns and manipulating fabric to make beautiful items. Combining my experience and love for designing i started 'made from memories'.

Good evening Ladies & Gents,

Cannot believe it is Friday tomorrow! 🧵 🪡 What a busy week it has been this week. Four keepsake bears finished and ready for collection.

Remembrance bears seem to be one of my most popular orders. Those loved ones who have sadly left us hold a special place in our heart and their clothes hold special memories that we cherish dearly. So what a lovely way of keeping those memories alive 🧸 🪽.

So who recognizes tonight’s ‘Show and Tell? Each item carefully chosen to make up each bear and all a little different.

What a surprise 🍾 🥂…

Well this was a very unexpected surprise this afternoon after I had returned home after my 10K steps. The wonderful Mike & Sarah brought me a bottle of Prosecco to say thank you again for ‘Mr Bryan Bear’ they commissioned recently.

It would have been Bryan’s birthday weekend, so in celebration of his life, his loved ones left behind and a big thank you, I’m raising a toast. To Bryan…. 🥂

Thank you Mike & Sarah 💛

Happy Friday Ladies & Gents,

The start of the bank holiday has begun. In true English style it’s looking a very wet one too 🌧️. Who booked outdoor activities thinking the weather would continue being sunny 🙋🏻‍♀️.

On a brighter note, tonight I have the final ‘Show & Tell’ from my most recent order to finish the week. Lovingly handmade using items belonging to a loved one who is no longer here 🪽.

Good evening Ladies & Gents,

The second ‘Show & Tell’ this evening from my triple keepsake bear order.

🪽 Grief is a difficult time that sadly we all experience at what time or another. So many people keep hold of items of clothing that remind them of all the memories they shared together. So getting rid of them can be just as devastating.

🧵 🪡 These lovely remembrance bears were made using a loved one’s shirts and jumper. So now they can have them on display as a daily reminder of their loved one and also help in some way of processing the loss and feeling closer to them. 🧸

Good evening Ladies & Gents,

It’s been a busy couple of weeks getting everything sorted for ‘Back to school’ 📚. But they are now back! One starting year 9 and my youngest starting Primary school. So I can finally get some time to focus on my up coming orders.

But I managed to get a triple order finished last week amidst the chaos. Which means I have a ‘Show & Tell’ for you all. So who recognizes this handsome chap?🧸

Make sure you Like & Follow to see how the other 2 turned out. Once they have been collected I can show you how they turned out 💙.
