I have recently become a mother to my beautiful daughter Hollie and like all parents i can relate to how special,overwhelming and magical it is to make a life and watch them grow. I decided to make something that would remind me on a daily basis of all those special memories. My memory bears have had su

ch positive feedback that i decided to offer my skills and services to other parents who would also like to own something truly unique rather than the usual generic items we all end up buying. I come from a design background studying Fashion Marketing at University and worked in the Fashion industry for many years. I therefore have a good knowledge regarding design,sewing and crafts after using patterns and manipulating fabric to make beautiful items. Combining my experience and love for designing i started 'made from memories'.

Happy Friday Ladies & Gents,

The start of the bank holiday has begun. In true English style it’s looking a very wet one too 🌧️. Who booked outdoor activities thinking the weather would continue being sunny 🙋🏻‍♀️.

On a brighter note, tonight I have the final ‘Show & Tell’ from my most recent order to finish the week. Lovingly handmade using items belonging to a loved one who is no longer here 🪽.

The second ‘Show & Tell’ this evening from my triple keepsake bear order.

🪽 Grief is a difficult time that sadly we all experience at what time or another. So many people keep hold of items of clothing that remind them of all the memories they shared together. So getting rid of them can be just as devastating.

🧵 🪡 These lovely remembrance bears were made using a loved one’s shirts and jumper. So now they can have them on display as a daily reminder of their loved one and also help in some way of processing the loss and feeling closer to them. 🧸

Good evening Ladies & Gents,

It’s been a busy couple of weeks getting everything sorted for ‘Back to school’ 📚. But they are now back! One starting year 9 and my youngest starting Primary school. So I can finally get some time to focus on my up coming orders.

But I managed to get a triple order finished last week amidst the chaos. Which means I have a ‘Show & Tell’ for you all. So who recognizes this handsome chap?🧸

Good evening Ladies & Gents,

I hope you’re all enjoying the summer holidays and we certainly can’t complain about not having a summer this year 🥵 ☀️. 2 weeks left of the summer holidays and my kids will be back at school. Which means I can get back into a work life balance.

💭 Anybody else struggle to get work done during these long school breaks?

🧵 🪡 But tonight I do have a gorgeous ‘Show & Tell’ for you all. This extra large button bear is ready for collection and he turned out beautiful 💙. Sooo many important baby clothes were used to make him. So who recognizes these items? ✂️

So I can now reveal Mr Sebastian Bear….

🧸Karen requested this large button bear to be made after receiving a gift voucher for her son. She sent me the most beautiful mixture of outgrown baby clothes. 🧵 🪡

I incorporated the original dungaree look on the body, used the collar from the shirt and used the zip detailing and button details throughout. I think he turned out wonderful.

Good evening Ladies & Gents,

Is it too early to mention the ‘C’ word…whispering CHRISTMAS 🎅🏻🤦🏻‍♀️. As you all know I get booked up very early for Christmas so I thought I would mention it during this heatwave ☀️ 🤣.

Good evening Ladies & Gents,

I hope you’re all surviving this 3rd heatwave! ☀️ Perfect timing for my kids that have finished school this week. Despite a sweaty working environment I managed to get another keepsake order finished and posted. So he is now making his final trip home! 📦 🧸.

Emotional week 🥹….

So this week has been an emotional week. My youngest graduated 🧑🏼‍🎓from her playschool at Little explorers. My eldest went to this playschool in 2015 and my youngest started in 2023. So my two girls had the pleasure to start their life in education at the same playschool. I held onto this uniform for 9yrs and thought it was a perfect gift for celebrating the final farewell.

Alison, Rowan, Jane, Sam, Jodie, Louise and Emily for providing a safe place for my girls to grow into the young ladies they are today. 💙💛
